Rep. Flores to Newsmax: NY Times Incorrectly Calls Faith, Family Values 'Far-Right'

Rep. Mayra Flores, R-Texas, told Newsmax on Thursday that The New York Times incorrectly labeled her and other Hispanic Americans as ''far-right" in a recent news article because the paper is ''anti-God, anti-family values and anti-job opportunities."

''They do not represent our values, and that's the reason why they want to call me a far-right Latina," the Texas congresswoman said during an interview on ''The Chris Salcedo Show."

Flores added that Americans shouldn't consider The New York Times a legitimate news organization after it gave favorable coverage to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., when she was first elected — but attacked her.

''They don't know us. They have no idea who we are ... they just do not represent our community, and I feel that. Nobody really cares about The New York Times, especially in my district, where we're worried about healthcare. We're worried about the cost of gas, the cost of food. That's what we're worried about," Flores stated.

''We're focused on the issues that really matter to the American people, and I refuse to give them any attention," she continued. ''They claim that they're for immigrants. I'm an immigrant. I'm from Mexico. And yet, all they do is hate me."…

This Newsmax news report of Rep. Flores response to the NYTimes “report” on her and other Latinas covers her words perfectly. The way she points out the double standard in the way the NY Slimes treats AOC compared to the conservative Hispanic women from Texas was spot on. This congress woman is a rising star and The NY Times tried to take her down.

 

The congresswoman is right about what she told News max reporters regarding the bias of the New York Times against God, Patriots, family, and values.

 

It’s ironic seeing individuals that believe in a supernatural sky being that impregnated a young child and then murdered it’s offspring call others illegitimate.

 

A rather disgusting and twisted view of the act that made our salvation and eternal life possible.

It’s their coping mechanism when dealing with a populist charismatic minority woman who is a conservative.

 

She is an elected conservative Republic Hispanic woman member of congress. She will be an incumbent with a record to run on in November and she has friends like her who are going to be part of that big red tsunami coming to democrats near you in November.

Flores has a tougher challenge ahead of her in November in the form of Representative Vicente Gonzalez, who switched districts from TX-15, where he has served since 2017, to run in TX-34, which leans more Democratic after Republican-led redistricting.
He called Flores an "unqualified opponent" who was "a pawn chosen by the Republican Party for a race they poured millions of dollars into for a seat that's going to last six months."

 

So, how is it that she’s not qualified to run for that seat? So she’s defending her seat against a carpet bagger shopping for a more favorable district to stay in office from?

 

The NY Times simply got confused with their convoluted logic. They just assumed without much thought that since the far left is absolutely anti God and against family values and families that the opposite must be true for the far [sic] right.

Only a black conservative is more despicable to Democrats and the left than a Hispanic conservative.

 

A Hispanic conservative who is a woman is truly despicable to them. And now there are several minority conservative women in congress.
