Three friends of the apparent victim told the Daily Mail that Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff struck the woman named under the pseudonym “Jane” following a glitzy night out at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France.

“The friends, who all asked not to be named for fear of retaliation by Emhoff, shared with DailyMail.com pictures of him and Jane together from 2012, and other documents and communications corroborating elements of the story,” the Daily Mail reported. “The shocking claims follow revelations by DailyMail.com that Emhoff cheated on his first wife and mother of his two kids around 2008, allegedly impregnating his daughter’s nanny who also worked as her grade school teacher.”...

And this coming to light just days after MSNBC host, former Obama Press Secretary, Jen Paski described him as “reshaped the perception of masculinity.”

“I’m not sure you planned on that, but you are a incredibly supportive spouse.”

So how will Harris deal with this display of her judgement?

We do not expect an impact. We know lefties are hypocrites. The voters still have right to know what happened. The 1st Husband plays a major role in the WH. We need to know if he is a woman beater or not. I heard Emhoff paid the woman he slapped $80,000 to keep quiet. If this is not brought to light for the voters to decide then this will be seen yet another election interference event by Democrats.

 

If there will be no impact, then why bring it to light, as you say?
What impact do you think it should have? Should someone change their vote or lean one way because of this?
The alternative is the candidate himself that was found guilty of sexual assault, and there are many stories about different actual events where Trump assaulted women (his own words), or raped a 15 year old in Epsteins apartment, or ...............
If this story is accurate, you would expect someone to change their mind and vote for Trump?

Need I remind you the government must strive to be more transparent. Not to provide Americans with something that is quite concerning for all of us is seen as opaque. We all should want a more transparent government so the trust isn't broken.

What I don't like is *partisan transparency*, where one side demands transparency from the other side but doesn't want to be transparent themselves.
This incident should be transparent, but is it more crucial information than information about the candidates themselves, like Trump's behavior surrounding the documents case?

More hypocrisy. When you choose a guy like Trump as your candidate, it really limits the amount of stuff you can attack the other side for without looking like a complete fool because Trump has done the same or similar. But I suppose in MAGA world, fool is a compliment.

It's like folks forget who their candidate is in their rabid rush to condemn anything left-related. It make them appear mindless, like they're just meat with eyes, which sounds like exactly the type of voter Trump wants so maybe there's a connection.

I don't recall anyone in the Rep party or his campaign or here presenting Trump as the epitome of the "new masculinity" and we should all strive to be more like him. I do recall you guys wanting to hold him and any other Rep as 100% guilty and should be banished from office if not society for even the filmiest of allegations.
