I don't know why police would peper spray a man with his hands up

it was either cause they feared the ar-15 or they were bad cops and just enjoyed pepper spraying people

Because they were keeping a "buffer" between themselves and the crowd, and they didn't care what sort of antics anybody was pulling with their hands. How many times must this simple and obvious thing be explained to you before it penetrates?

obviously someone walking towards them with hands up needs assistance, not to be gassed

Anybody and everybody who walked towards the cops that night needed to be gassed regardless of where their hands were. It was a riot. The leftist riot rats were tearing the place to shreds.

It's very foolish of you to think that the rules of a polite society still apply when there's a riot raging.

You aren't even keeping up with the conversation and who you are talking to lol. I never said that firstly, so as I stated, everything I have said so far has been objectively correct and demonstrated as true.

Because his hands up doesn't mean he isn't a threat in a situation where the rules of society no longer exist.

All people were required to stay away as the officers slowly took back control of certain areas.

Approaching them for any reason is grounds for pepper spray.

If anything he should receive some sort of civilian policing stipend and an award for courage under fire. A stellar candidate for a career in law enforcement or private security.

Oh yea, the discipline he showed was insane.

I have no doubt private security would be his best line of work.

Due to the overly political nature of this trial, law enforcement is probably a no go.

Its possible, but the job is dangerous as it is. He would be targeted rather quickly.

Plus he will be judged harsher than any other cop in his actions, something cops are already judged far to harshly on.

Private security has far more freedom in their actions and less scrutiny from the public. And they make more money to if you are in the right job.

Please clarify what point you're trying to make, because you appear to have flip flopped. It seemed that you were initially trying to suggest that Kyle got pepper sprayed by the police because he ran up to them, and he looked threatening with his big, scary gun, and the police saw him as a threat.
Now you seem to be suggesting that the police are at fault for pepper spraying a person who walked up to them with his hands up and he was clearly just asking for help, and he wasn't a threat.
So which is it? Was Kyle a big scary threat, or are the cops mean poopieheads who pepper spray innocent-looking people like Kyle?

    Its both! lol

    Dont like guns

    Dont like Kyle

    Can't be consistent.

The entire reason he is on trial is because the left hates guns, and right wingers.

I never said that, nor is it rational to come to that conclusion about what I said.

However, the priority of officers protecting themselves in an anarchic situation comes first. Officers pepper spraying, which is non lethal means of gaining compliance, is absolutely acceptable.

The element of guilt or innocence is irrelevant.

Police don't determine guilt or innocence. That's the court. Police don't punish.
