Overstaying visas, or staying while visa requirements are not being honored is too common.

Student visas are not enforced. The Boston Bombers were drop outs on a student's visa.
How hard is it in the age of computers to maintain visa enforcement? No Will !

A visa is a contract that should be upheld.

But if they are underage, wouldn't they need a parent's permission? If the mother signed a contract allowing them to stay for only a certain length of time, then isn't it kidnapping? Also if that boy does not want to return, and the U.S. is breaking its agreement and allowing him to stay, wouldn't it be frightening to the other parents? How can any parent allow their children to come on an exchange program knowing that they might never return? :confuse:

Seriously, what part do we disagree.
The kids visa was for "x". When "x" is not met - back on the boat / plane he goes.
AND Yes, there is a reason a minor is a minor.
I am a big advocate of Parent/Guardian culpability for juvenile crime.

Insincerely, or inseriously, Don't YOU realize the pressures his family is under to lure him home, again. <the horror> .

OMG, this is horrible, who is holding him against his will (which is the definition of kidnapping...Mother wanting him back does not on the other hand constitute the definiton of kidnapping)?

How do you fingure THEY destroyed the Soviet Union and then Russia?

The Soviet Union was already Bankrupt.....the new Russia was at the mercy of former really P!$$ED OFF....former Soviet States....and the U.S. did Russia a favor by destroying old Soviet Nukes, Chemical and Biological Weapons and hey...GUESS WHAT??

U.S. Military Biological Weapons Destruction Teams are in Russia RIGHT NOW...still doing the job.

how?.. from the mass media, of course. Yelts & Gorbie signed a document that says the USSR to be disbanded; the entire world saw it.

it was not; go and read up on the subject; but even if it were, this does not mean a country may be destroyed just like that, without any second chance; the American Depression, for instance, was not used as a pretext for destruction of the US.

Hey...WE did not destroy our form of Governement because of the Great Depression.

Russia was in a bankrupt state far beyond any levels the U.S. experienced during our Great Depression and it was RUSSIANS who disbanded the Soviet Union...along with ever other Nation that was heald hostage as a Soviet State.

that's the only difference, because there was no Cold War conducted against the US at the time, unlike USSR that was in a siege laid by the West later.

bankrupcy is a legal process where a bankrupt is absolved of obligations. USSR had never failed paying its dues; there was no creditors the USSR stayed in debt to.

nope, Russians voted against the disbanding, and they never wanted Russia lose the Cold War or go capitalist.

My point is that Russia is the creator of it's own problems.

Let us wait a little and see who loughs the last. Russia survived many calamities. Russia will grow and expand her influence in the world.

Don't want those kids coming here and learning that their Fearless Leader is noting more than a another tyrant, might be bad for his future.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes, Putin leg-humpers would love that fantasy to become a reality, too bad it never will, too bad for them anyway.

    I agree.

But Putin is making a huge mistake.

A mistake so massive and grand it will effect the Russian People for decades.

Ordinarily I would agree with your statement....but I am very good at what I do and I cannot see any endgame that will benefit Russia.

    AboveAlpha...p.s....benefit Putin...yes.

the least thing the US took in account when inciting the riots in Ukraine was whether Russia benefits from it. Putin was only smart enough to snatch Crimea up from the chaos.

Sounds like a chapter out of the QUANON “bible”.
I do not understand homosexuality nor do I condone such behavior but had any kid caught the “ Gay” virus by breathing the same air as gay people??
I am not talking about HIV or AIDS but catching the “GAY” is a behavior not a virus.
