So Obama gave Iran a drone and now Biden gave one to Russia. Yes they speculate it’s too deep of waters to recover but I feel more could be done to ensure that. Like a naval blockade. They could also threaten more sanctions.

Apparently we don't have naval vessels in the Black Sea. I hear that they wiped sensitive software from the drone before it crashed, though.

If it's crashed....there's probably not much left of it....and if fairly deep....attempts at recovery may damage it more.

Now...there's a reason for US vessels to be in Black Sea.....I don't thinks Turks will mind much and considering this was intl air space.

What makes you think that whatever the Russians could recover is worth more than the cost of a Naval blockade?

Depends on how stealthy the drone is. Russia and China both want our technology.

Sure, but what we think doesn't matter, because we have no idea what we are talking about, and no amount of "research" is going to cure our ignorance on this situiation.

The Montreux convention is in force and prevents ships from non-black sea nations from entering the black sea.

I believe if these planes are worth being top secret tech I would be fairly positive it would be worth it. Why not just release our tech to Russia right? I hate a dumb assertion

How could we stop them? Should we attack their recovery vessels?

Yea, unless the top secret part of the tech is mostly software related, and they were able to wipe it. Or if they know it's in 11 billion pieces a mile under the ocean and there isn't any realistic shot of them getting anything meaningful.

People who know more about this than either of us could ever possibly know are working on it. What we think should not be considered, because we are completely ignorant about it.

    It was recovered intact. Alas.

Thanks to our cyber security geniuses Iran "commandeered the aircraft and safely landed it".

"On 5 December 2011, an American Lockheed Martin RQ-170 Sentinel unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was captured by Iranian forces near the city of Kashmar in northeastern Iran. The Iranian government announced that the UAV was brought down by its cyberwarfare unit which commandeered the aircraft and safely landed it, after initial reports from Western news sources disputedly claimed that it had been "shot down".[1] The United States government initially denied the claims but later President Obama acknowledged that the downed aircraft was a US drone.[2][3] Iran filed a complaint to the UN over the airspace violation. Obama asked Iran to return the drone. Iran is said to have produced drones based on the captured RQ-170 including the Shahed 171 Simorgh and Shahed Saegheh." Wiki

The drone crash site is closer to Turkey than it is to Crimea. Also the Russian salvage ship was built in 1913 under the Tsarist Russian Empire because the trash heap that is modern Russia can't afford to build anything newer or better.

I'm so glad I found this channel. So sick of hearing a one-sided narrative on everything recently that runs contrary to most peoples' intelligence. Kudos from Ireland

I'll agree that he's sick, but sick does not always equal dumb.

What he says is pretty consistent with what the other anti-establishment pundits say.

That experience of being a nationally known sex offender must have really shaken him up; he's probably not as sick as he used to be. I'm glad he's able to overcome his shame and speak in public. This will haunt him the rest of his life though.

It's a safe bet that if "the establishment" says the sky is blue, these lying *******s will say it's not.

    And that you'll believe them.

This is according to the statements of the American side. The Russian media write that the drone lies just 60 km from Sevastopol.

lol, escalation management. No dimshit (the guy in the video, not the poster) they wanted it intact.

Yeah there’s some bending of the truth on both sides here. It’s not just an innocent widdle drone minding its own business like USA says, but Russias actions were to exploit the situation to try to recover the drone, purposely trying to bring it down without destroying it
