    Correction: It was a Soviet company located in the administrative entity known as the Ukraine. Once they separated from Russia, it lost out as did everyone and everything else - except of course the mafia families. They're thriving!

    Lol....keep dreaming about your crappy planes replacing Boeing.....this problem will get fixed, how many russki planes have fallen outta the sky.....that we know of, let alone the ones they don't report!LOL.

    Uh yeah....unfortunately 2 down.....as I said it will get fixed.....Boeing share $$$ down a few...not a disaster, not like anyone will quit flying on Boeing.

    Nevertheless, almost all the countries, including the US forrbidded airlines to use Boeing 737Max.

    Bombardier(Canada)......EmbraerE(Brazil).....still not big enough to compete with Boeing.

    Ilyushin Il-112V is to replace the old Antonov An-26 aircraft.
    The engines of the new Il-112V are TV7-117S - to replace the Ukraine made TV3-117.

    Ukraine could produce thousands of engines and hundreds of airplanes for Russia, and earn billions of dollars. But now it's gone.

    Don't know bout the Russians, but Airbus just got a big order because of the Boeing crashes and mishandling of the after crashes media releases.
