Wasn't quoting you D but spare us the porky pies.

I was in Moscow couple weeks ago. Everything looked great. They haven't missed a beat.

I left there and stopped off in Georgia.....a bit trashy and graffitied for my taste. Poorly managed place.

Russia does tend to keep that part of the world poor and downtrodden. Russia outside of Moscow mostly looks pretty bad too, but I know you like to pretend otherwise as part of your efforts.

Okay Mr Expert, tell us all the cities you've visited in Russia in your entire life. Never mind, I already know....ZERO.

How many have you visited? It sounds like you stick to the wealthy areas and avoid the rest.

Wealthy areas? You and your buddy say there aren't any wealthy areas.

I've been to about a dozen cities, not counting suburbs.

That is false, of course. Why do you never tell the truth? Moscow and Pete are wealthy while the rest of the country is largely an impoverished shithole. The wealth divide between urban and rural is much more severe than here, and again between those cities and most others.

Meanwhile, in the greatest nation on earth, even a town of under 1,000 souls has running water, paved roads and broadband internet, among other amenities that rural Russians can only dream of.

    Because you live there ....Bill.

Name the cities you've been too?

    RuZzia is basically a $hithole outside Moscow/Pete.

Even in rural Dakotas..... villages with population 500 or less , indoor toilets, running water, high speed internet, village stores stacked with necessities, even open 24/7.

When you have to lie to keep telling porky pies, you're in sad shape.

Don't tell me what Russia is like, I know what it's like. You've never ****ing been there!

I've been from Crimea to Siberia....spare me the ignorant comments. If you want to see a shithole, go to India. Tbilisi is not as clean as any place I've been in Russia and the whole country of Georgia's internet sucks. Paris is not as clean as Ekaterinburg. Neither is London.

My parents don't even have broadband! They have to run off of a Verizon hotspot!

You're just full of porky pies today. I suspect you just can't stand the fact you've been duped by the USG and various clowns that repeat its propaganda.

DSL in the boonies you say? Well (slow) DSL only works within about 3.5 miles of a CO (central office) that has a fiber feed. Copper has its limits.

SO, you have a CO in the boonies? What kind of porky pies now D?

I don't know how Windstream does it, but it works.

Because Windstream runs fiber feeders and branches off with copper. That's how. It's basically a cheap fiber extension...that's Windstream's game. It's not cutting edge tech D, so don't get too excited. Windstream ain't everywhere either.

I don't care if it's cutting edge. Point is, it's there and it works.

So you admit you have a "gravel road", Bill.

And you shop at a Dollar General.....

    Truth comes out eventually.
