It's the state highway that runs through the middle of town, and is not maintained by the city.

I stand corrected on my claims about no paved streets or running water. About half of Wasilla's streets are paved, and it has a tiny public water system. About a third of the town is not connected to it.

None of this changes the fact that Ms Palin stuck the town with a huge debt load for her one project before running off to schmooze Ted Stevens.

 

Nah, it is the same thing. We are harnessing our children to work to pay for our wants. Same thing as slavery. Since it is not 100% I call it fractional slavery.

Besides blacks alive today are the beneficiaries of slavery whereas taxpayers are still in bondage.
