I have heard several pundits predict that President Biden is going to be replaced as the Democrat frontrunner sometime before November. Some people don't think he is capable of serving 4 more years as POTUS. (I don't think he is either).
Who do you folks think would be the best replacement for President Biden? Please vote in my poll. If you have a different choice, please name them.
I voted for Gavin Newsome in the poll.

Everybody on that list stinks. The Democrats don't have any decent people to run because the party has gone completely hypocritical, and completely far left wing. There is no moderation in them. I can't see any honesty or decency in them.

They hate the middle class and its values. They hate the fact that middle class people have worked and saved and have assets. Despite the fact that those assets are far less than what the Democrats elites have, they still despise us. They label anyone who doesn't agree with them as MAGA, and they say it with a sneer.

They can build several mansions each for themselves, but they begrudge us one home that is paid for without a mortgage.

People talk about Joe Manchin. He would be the most acceptable Democrat, but even he caved and voted for Biden's pork barrel bill. Now he's officially left the party.

If you want a symbol for the modern Democrat Party, look no further than AOC and the Squad. They call the shots for the most part. If what they want seems too radical how, wait a couple years. Then it will be mainstream Democrat thinking.

He will stay in and move Kamala over to the Supreme Court. He will name Hillary as vice president so he can retire and make her president after a couple weeks he is in.

You should write scripts for horror movies. How do you think Hillary will make the Biden dementia ticket more attractive? Hillary's approval rating is as bad as Biden's, and she's almost as old.

At least the Biden and Clinton crime families will be united.

Rumors are flying that Hillary Clinton will replace Harris before the election.
The only problem is, if she does the publicity photos for Memorial day no one will know if she's thanking her voters or hiding witnesses.

    Come on.
Even liberals have to admit, this is funny.

Biden isn’t going anywhere. But my top three if Biden was replaced would be Tammy Duckworth, IL, Andy Beshear, KY or Laura Kelly KS. Like around half of all Americans, I would replace both Trump and Biden on the ballot if I could.

Is that even possible? More probable is if Trump is replaced as front runner we see a change in presidential candidate before the election because if Trump is out of the picture the dynamic changes. Biden v Haley is a very different dynamic. But given the state of the GOP and Trumps continuing deterioration Biden should not only win in Nov but there should be a blue wave. Control back of the two houses and he steps down Kamala becomes president with the speaker of the house stepping up to VP and a new speaker elected

I voted for Michelle Obama, under the pretense of if I was a staunch Dem and just wanted to keep my party in power. She could do that.

I dont think shed be a good potus, nor anyone else on that list. But she could win.

Tammy is a good choice but as a strong outspoken woman she would not be popular with the far right base

Kelly and Beshear are governors in red states. But there's always been something I really liked about Tammy Duckworth, she's spunky and she's a vet. She did give running this time serious thought, but once Biden announced he would run for reelection, she gave up that thought.

she's hard left. Beshear isn't a hard core gun banning leftist. He's more a pragmatist.

this is from Duckworth's own web page

esponsibility to do more than send thoughts and prayers. As a combat Veteran who grew up in a family of marksmen, she knows our nation can do more to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous criminals while protecting Second Amendment rights. She supports common-sense legislation to curb gun violence, including establishing universal background checks, closing the gun show loophole, cracking down on gun trafficking and straw purchasers, banning assault weapons that are more suited for war than for civilian use, limiting the sale of high-capacity magazines and bump stocks that increase the number of people an active shooter can kill or injure in a short period of time and ensuring that individuals on the terrorist watch-list are not able to purchase weapons legally.

anyone who owns guns and wants to keep owning them would be an idiot to vote for her

Just remembered - she is also not American born. Can you lot do the rest of the world a favour and replace that requirement with ones around passing security clearance BEFORE nomination and a psych evaluation would go amiss either given the presidents proximity to buttons that can cause really big booms

you still don't get it. Most of us on the right are voting against socialist nonsense. cancel culture garbage, open borders, gender confusion, gun bans, class warfare and law fare. The problem you all have is that you have no concept that other people can be opposed to the crap biden pushes and even if the brain dead pedo=Joetato was a saint, we still wouldn't vote for his idiotic policies-dictated by his handlers

Nothing essentially wrong with socialism per se. “Cancel culture” is a Faux News myth mostly pushed by Tucker “my balls need browning” Carlson. I just love that that is still a “thing” whilst screeching about banning children’s books about farting dogs lols!

Who’s worried about the far-right base, they’re not going to vote democratic anyway. I’ve got independents in mind more than either the GOP or democratic base. They’re going to vote for their candidate regardless of that candidate is. History has shown both major parties faithful vote for their candidate 93% of the time. Independents or as I like to call them swing back and forth. How independents voted since 2000

2000 independents voted for G.W. Bush 47-46 over Gore; independents voted for Republican congressional candidates 49-47 over Democratic congressional candidates.

2002 independents voted for Republican congressional candidates 51-45 over Democratic congressional candidates.

2004 independents voted for Kerry by a 49-48 margin over G.W. Bush. Independents voted for Republican congressional candidates by a 50-46 margin over Democratic congressional candidates.

2006 independents voted Democratic by a margin of 57-39 over Republicans with 4% voting third party.

2008 independents voted for Obama by a 52-44 margin over McCain. Independents voted 52-45 for Democratic congressional candidates.

2010 independents voted 56-37 Republican over Democrat with 7% voting third party.

2012 independents voted for Romney by a 51-48 margin. Independents voted 50-49 for Republican congressional candidates.

2014 independents voted 54-42 for Republican congressional candidates.

2016 Independents voted for Trump 46-42 with 12% voting third party. In congressional election independents voted Republican 51-47.

2018 Independents voted for the Democratic congressional candidates by a 54-44 margin with 4% voting third party.

2020 Independents voted for Biden 54-41 with 5% voting third party. In Congressional elections independents voted Democratic 49-48.

2022 Independents voted for Democratic congressional candidates by a 49-47 margin.

yeah, it's blatantly unconstitutional. she's a liar when she says that the assault weapons she wants to ban are more suited for war given the people who guard her sorry ass carry those things. Magazine limits are blatantly unconstitutional and the "terrorist watch list" is filled with due process problems-Late Senator Ted Kennedy was on the watch list. There is no gun show loophole so she lies again. Her positions are hard core anti gun nonsense

Kelly and Beshesr are from white states. The Democratic coalition is diverse. You don’t win a South Carolina Democratic primary without doing work and having notoriety in the black community.

Yep! The classic “swing” voters always ignored. We don’t ignore them her in Aus because we have mandatory voting and those beggars HAVE to vote instead of just sitting it out as they often do in America. They make our politicians very bloody nervous which is all to the good since it means we control the government
