Unless we are talking about government hires for busy work, presidents creating jobs is a myth they sell you at election time. The President actually has very little influence over that.

So, for you, the fact that 18 of 20 of the poorest states are red is pure chance?

    False dichotomy.

President isn't the entire political establishment, political infrastructure nor culture of the places. Nor is it the history of the places.

Presidents have nowhere near as much influence on this as people so often pretend.

    Show your work.

Anyone who thinks the President is their creators of jobs will love this. Anyone with more than one functioning brain cell will know private companies create jobs, Biden's job "creation" is a scam - most of the "jobs" he claims credit for are just people displaced by the pandemic going back to work. In the nine months from the bottom of the pandemic until Jan 6 3021 Trump. recovered 12 million jobs. In his first as President Biden recovered nine million. Clinton and Obama both did their best "job creation" with Dem Congresses.

The key to job creation is to show employers they'll be able to grow and prosper and be rewarded for the risks they take.

You don't have to convince me that the POTUS doesn't have a huge influence on the economy.

A POTUS can only help create the conditions necessary for economic growth.

But the fact remains that when a Democrat is in power, far more jobs are created than when it's a Republican.

So why vote for a Republican?

Correlation does not necessarily mean causation.

The truth is it's not just jobs, Democrats do better at producing a better economy overall.

Assuming it's only a correlation, should the people still risk electing a Republican as POTUS ?
