The reason is irrelevant. Protestors committed this same crime during the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing. 164 we're arrested. 0 we're prosecuted.

How's it feel to support a system where people are above the law?

They tried to stop the certification of the electoral college during the the Kavanuagh hearings? With thousands of people taking over the Capitol and beating police? Wild bro. Have you a link to that fictional event?

They obstructed an official proceeding at the Kavanaugh hearing. No one has been convicted trying to stop the certification of an election.

Glad to see you so willingly support such a lopsided system.

This is the meat and bones of it. These crimes are being selectively prosecuted, and honestly mostly for domestic consumption. That's why there's a big stink about 'conspiracy to affect Biden's win', a charge that's mostly frivolous, but absolutely essential to the DOJ's public case. The problem is, the DOJ is supposed to not be partial to political bias's during its prosecutions. The impartiality of the department is crucial to the idea that some humans can incarcerate, and/or judge other humans.

When that impartiality is even slightly impacted, it does tremendous damage to the department without even saying so. And the real reason for all of this hoopla, has been to support the Biden Administration. 1/6 allows Biden to exist as a martyr, instead of as a non-effective President.

"The most dangerous attack on democracy, worse than 9/11 and Pearl Harbor!" All for disgusting, low-level propaganda that can easily be stripped away.

Clearly they didn't obstruct anything. No charges, no convictions.

FYI, there are plenty of people who are serving time for their insurrection that called out Trump. Trump has been claiming POTUS immunity.

I sure as heck want him to testify.

No charges of participating in an insurrection. That’s because there was no insurrection.

Indeed, I'm aware, and it was the DOJ who practically shielded Trump's testimony(much to the chagrin of Liberals at the time.) but now, the DOJ wants to reverse course and use Trump's words as evidence in prosecution, and that's not fair to the defendant of that case, or the other cases that have been litigated about 1/6.

The NY case has nothing to do with 1/6.

What article are you reading because mine said:
Four of the defendants were found guilty on all of the charges they faced, including conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, conspiracy to prevent a member of congress from doing their duty, destruction of government property and civil disorder.

Can you quote where no one was charged with conspiracy? I would say how embarrassing but that takes integrity so we both know there is no embarrassment over trying to mock someone for not reading when you didn’t yourself.

Sorry to disappoint but Trump isn't going to win the Republican nomination in 2024. The leftist media has damaged him to the point he's irrelevant now. They need to reload and go after Republican governors such as DeSantis or Abbot who are more likely going to be Biden's opposition.

I see. So going after political figures that you don't agree with is are matters reserved for two Black prosecutors in New York and Atlanta? You think Trump might be able to argue racism in these cases?
