We finally have some shirt sleeve weather here. I am hoping some of the plants I thought were gone for good will come back. Wishful thinking.

I like our wild turkey. I have seen a group of wild ones with a white bird mixed in. Hmmm.....I like the Royal palm turkey best. Pretty bird.

There was a moratorium on turkeys here for years and I have counted as many as 22 birds in a flock. The moratorium was lifted and the large flocks have disappeared. Sad.. I hope the people hunting turkey are out for the food and not the sport of seeing how many they can bag.

Had to take an unplanned morning off because someone decided to go on a shopping spree at Amazon with my debit card information. Not a good way to start off a day. 8 charges all posted overnight apparently "several" pending I cannot dispute until they post to account. My Amazon account itself wasn't hacked as it show zero recent purchases. You would think as much as that company spends of technology, they would have a way to detect someone using debit/credit card numbers already linked to other accounts. They seem to be the center of the fraud universe.

I now understand what an asset a good dog can be. My "mutt" has a natural herding instinct and he keeps my other animals in line. He still needs to be trained. I would also like a self protection dog. He has very sharp , white teeth and could rip my calf muscle out with one bite. But I don't want him to be in any way mean to people.

But it would be good if they had the good training and good dog sense to do that to the right person if need be.

In most cases you can train a dog to stop being aggressive. He sounds like a neat dog. Good luck with him.

I have had small fish ponds that house bluegill and goldfish. The goldfish are my selection. I call them veil tail comets. Well anyway, tomorrow we go fishing for our supper. The fish need thinning out. Might start feeding again now winter is over.

When I was a kid, my dad always took us to local ponds and lakes. Fishing for sunfish is a really good memory.

When I was about 9 or 10 my Uncle took my brother and me to a fishing tournament for children. I caught a fish big enough to win a prize and get my name in the paper..lol. If memory serves me right it was a bass.

Windy and rainy today ruined my plans (hopes) to kick start gardening mode a little early. Oh well, good day for 4 or 5 naps.

We are in a tornado watch till 4PM. The sky is overcast and the day for the most part is dreary. Just a stay inside and read. My plans for a day of gardening are gone.

It's been a doozy of a tornado season. My sister is in East Central Illinois and my in-laws are in Eastern Kansas. It seems like all we do right now is worry about them. Stay safe.

I hope your family stays safe. Tornado watches are bad but the warnings get my attenton especially when my cell phone starts the warning sound.
We get this ever spring and fall. I still take precautions. I was thinking the other day how lucky we have been so far this year. Guess I should have waited on that thought.

    You have my sympathy.

I've had a credit card violated, cloned I'm guessing sine it was getting used at the same time at about 3,000 miles apart, at gas stations. It was likely skimmed at a gas station we hit on a trip back from vacation.

Fortunately, it was a card that has a very low limit, and not or primary one. We use it online, and for purchases away from home for that very reason. Don't forget to run your free credit report, to make sure they haven't done anything major.
