    This one's for our East Coast friends... or as we lovingly call 'em, the Yankees. Our first stop's in Connecticut. Found this nice cozy lil place we can call home for awhile. Comes complete with our own custy ole bartender!

    Yankeeland is pretty spread out, figure we better move around a little, so got us a deal on this lil place in Boston, too.

    After y'all get us kicked outta these two bars, we'll move to The City. Us Texas gals gotta build up to that much yankee.

    Belly up to the bar, folks. This is the place to take a break from politics, so leave it outside. Everybody's welcome here! (even if you don't speak Northerner!) ;)

    For food, try the Steak Loft in Mystic, CT or Legal Seafood in Boston.

    (Or one of the gajillion hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurants in Providence.)

    Good morning eveyone. I only have a few seconds as we are getting ready to go out for beakfast before heading back into the park. Got some good pics in Teton National Forest which we go through getting to Yellowstone. I will begin posting them later on. Have a really great day. Gotta go cause mom's tugging on my arm and says she is hungry.

    TGIF, y'all! Thought it'd never get here. Opening day of the State Fair of Texas and there's a parade downtown at noon. BIG thunderboomers moved thru last night and we even got a little rain, so hopefully we'll cool off. (101 yesterday)

    What's for breakfast? Hair of the dog???

    It's a lobstah roll and it is chunks of lobstah mixed with mayo and cucumber, etc, kind of like tuna salad. In order to be really authentic though, it should be served on a toasted hot dog bun! ;-)

    Since summer is almost over, these won't be on menus much anymore.

    Now is the time for this treat!!!
