If you all care about who sits on the supreme court, don't nominate candidates like Hillary Clinton to run for president. Noone wants establishment candidates anymore.

HA! I've been telling them here why Trump was nominated and elected for more than TWO YEARS and they refuse to believe it. Some have even said that Trump is the establishment now. :roflol:

They have Clinton's 20 or so reasons she lost, and the lying liberal media's reasons, et. al. so they will continue to move further left and lose more elections. It's hilarious.

I kind of disagree. The entire democrat party, not just Hillary have lost their collective marbles.

They despise America, Americans, American values and way of life, they spit on the flag, they hate the constitution and the rule of law, they attack individual freedoms, they deplore Christianity and Christians... They promote globalism, open borders and socialism, their PC is a form of fascism as it's goal is to suppress freedom of speech, they ally themselves with anarchists, communists, Islamists and terrorists, they physically attack the opposition, they tirelessly "divide and conquer" the country by resorting to gender/race/class baiting....

The democrat party has become so absurd, extremist, violent and intolerant that it does not matter who they nominate, they can't be trusted with even a tiny bit of power.

I'm glad to see that you have not lost your sense of tolerance.

I am a Democrat who used to be a Republican. Like most of my fellow Democrats I love America; I have never spit on the flag; I believe in the Constitution, the rule of law, and individual freedoms. I was raised and still am a Christian. I do not believe in either open or closed borders. I believe that trying to suppress "PC" as you put it is a denial of freedom of speech not a suppression of it. I am not in favor of anarchy; have fought Communists; do not align myself with Islamists or support terrorists from either the left or the right. I have never attacked another American and pray this country becomes less divided than it is now. I am interested in democracy not "even a tiny bit of power."

    I am a proud American,

Good for you dude, just one minor problem with your post - YOU ARE NOT A DEMOCRAT ANY MORE :(

And it's not your fault, the party has moved on, it has been hijacked by ultra-left intolerant violent extremists, its pro-american people agenda (in word if not necessarily indeed) has been replaced with a globalist one, it's constantly engaged in race/gender baiting... You are a good patriotic american, your party isn't. It's too bad you refuse to see that.

I believe that people should spend more time defining themselves and less time trying to define others. That would strengthen America.

And don't let Comey re-open his investigations just days before the election and don't let Putin mess with our elections any more.

It would be good for democrats to drop their hatred, and the Soros paid goons in the streets.

I am an Independent, conservative on some things, moderate on others.

    I respect your comments.

But, I'm sorry, but I don't think your party represents you.

also, please don't harass and stalk our representatives, throw poop and urine and shout racial slurs at our police officers. Especially when they are already minorities and deserve to be treated equally and with respect. Please stop kicking a black woman and her friend out of a diner as they eat breakfast, they have every right to dine there.

Please don't take up arms and start shooting people again and please refrain from destroying buildings, torching cars and limos and blocking auditoriums preventing free speech and shouting down those that want to move the country forward. Please stop spray painting buildings with vulgar obscenities.

Please stop wearing masks to rallies and assaulting Trump supporters and other supporters who are not a part of your ideology. Anarchy is not a solution. Communism is not the answer.

Please stop electing far left representatives to our government who want to destroy the Constitution and everything it stands for. They will destroy you as well, if they ever get power.

Please get over the results of the 2016 election and move your party back to the center so we can all get things that make us stronger and make us more united. You wanted the wall for 20 years, you wanted immigration reform for the last 20 years, why all the resistance to the very things you vowed to fix?

United we Stand, divided we fall.

but that is my decision to make.
I know many Democrats and the Borat post does not accurately describe any of them.

I know many Dems too. They are good, respectful, law-abiding people who love this country. You sound like a "traditional" Democrat. I have no problem with that.

But I still don't think your party represents you. I think it is being hijacked by extremists and, frankly, bad people.

Weigh this in your future decisions to vote democrat.

As long as the dem party thinks they have support of any kind, they will continue to try to move their party further left no matter what you think.

If dems were smart they would have changed their leadership and policies after the 2016 election, but they didn't, and moved further left. That's the reason the first mid-term after a major election loss usually gets the losing party some seat wins.

But the lying liberal media has convinced many dems not to change.

Jeez, what kind of nonsense is it? Where do you seem me advocating the dissolution of the Democrat party?

I am merely pointing out the reason why they can't be trusted with power until they come to their senses, return to their roots, develop a positive platform and start representing the interests of the american people for a change. Duh

I agree that the anti-establishment movement was a big factor in the last election and that this movement has gotten stronger since Trump was elected.

I also think the fact that Hillary was such a horrible candidate had something to do with it. So arrogant and condescending. No plan other than bash Trump - nothing to vote for. The woman is so off putting that many Dem women do not like her - while some still put the clothespin on the nose and voted for her.

While we did not know whether or not Trump would be establishment - we knew for sure that Hillary was.

Now that we know that Trump is an establishment wonk - despite his attempts to show otherwise - how does this bode for 2020.

Trump is still anti-establishment and ALWAYS has been even before he went into politics. He was an outsider among billionaires as well.

Today, Trump is learning politics, to TRY to work with the politicians in power. Without getting SOME SUPPORT from republicans, he would just be a one-man show. We are now seeing moderate republicans join against dems in the Kavanaugh vote.

But dems have been convinced by the lying liberal media NOT TO CHANGE.

Trump couldn't have planned the 2020 election better himself.

If you do not know what the Establishment is, or what the Establishment agenda is - then how can you make such a claim ?

    ELECTIONS!

Dems have been LOSING ELECTIONS SINCE 2010! That's the year of Obamacare introduction without one vote from (R)s. They've lost well over a 1000+ seats ACROSS THE BOARD, at local, state, and federal levels of power.

Any rational person can see that the dem party has a MAJOR problem with the American people! They REFUSE to change! And will continue to lose elections until they move back toward the CENTER.

What does this have to do with understanding what the Establishment is or what the Establishment agenda is ?

    1) What is it that you think the Establishment is - who are the Establishment ?
    2) What is their agenda ?
