It's not surprising. It wasn;t just the germans that were Nazis. Historically, Jews were often blamed for probelms such as famine, hersesy, and in one case the Black Death. It's not surpsing to find other nationalitys that believed in the Nazi cause. Even in the US we had them.

The nazi's gained european support by attracting people who were anti-bolshevik. (FACT). The French Vichy Govt was pro -NAZI. And there were supporters from Spain and England... Why don't you read this book called "Hitler's Jewish Soldiers"? It was written actually by a Jewish Historian who served in the Israeli military and studied the 3rd Riech's EXCEPTIONS to its racial policies. Basically they used other different groups of people as cannon fodder to advance their own cause. Or go ahead read Foriegn Legions of the 3rd Riech. Germans recruited soldiers as far into the central asian former soviet republics. Romanian Iron Guard allied with the NAZIs... Many ukrainians followed the third reich.
Why is it that when people speak of Nazis in southern europe, they only mention Cetniks and Ustase, but make Cetniks seem more evil.

Nazis sided with some Ukrainian nationalist groups as long as it looked useful for German plans, Nazis were virtually able to side with everyone, it does not mean, they were not against them in the long run. Croatians simply did not get it and obviously one of them still doesn't know.
Hey I am half croatian... You must be uneducated about Ukrainian history yourself. On my mother side of the family , her uncle in the foriegn blue division fought in the axis power in Ukraine wanting to liberate Ukraine from Soviet Bolshevism...and took a Ukrainian Jewish woman as his wife to Cleveland Ohio.... Nazis were not able to side with anyone because all those other sides could unify with each other against the NAZIs... Just because the NAZIs got funding from the US for weapons didn't mean they could fight a war...
Do you become a full Croatian when being grown up? You think your Spanish Fascist uncle and his Jewish wife are part of Ukrainian history? When I said, they were able to side with anyone, this meant, they were willing to forget differences for a while, when it help their plans. Not everybody was willing to side with them.

Actually, Croatians were basically the mini-Nazis in Europe. They were a lot more brutal than the Nazis though.
