They eliminated the Ukrainian parts as well as the translators. Why would you want the Ukrainian 'word for word' part? All calls with foreign leaders are treated the same way. Trump can certainly be blamed for setting a precedent in allowing this transcript to be made public.

He wanted an investigation into corruption and that included Biden. Why should Biden be above the law?

Fred, neither of us know what 'they eliminated.' The conversation was in English, the bloke speaks perfect English.

As for Biden, if he breached US Law, go after him. If he breached Ukrainian Law, get your nose out of it and leave that to the Ukrainians. If you broke a Law in Ukraine, why would POTUS be on the phone to Ukraine's President asking him to go after you.

You were quite comfortable with Schiff doing his 'parody' and said that type of behavior was not uncommon in Aus. If that's true, and it likely is, perhaps the Aus government should move towards establishing some dignity.
It's true that many countries have donated to the Clinton Foundation but these tend to be from Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Why Australia? What rationale did they use to explain that? And it gets little play in the Aus media except for your own 'Sean Hannity' type. The fact is the general public in Aus have no idea why this money was given to the Clintons, where it went or how it was used.

I shouldn't have to show Australians how their government is spending their money but I agree with the woman in the comment section under your link that you need a Donald Trump type down there also.

No, he does not speak 'perfect English' and if you saw his conversation with Trump you'd see where the translator was asked to step in. He would never risk a conversation with the US President with his faulty English. They really must understand each other perfectly. I speak Spanish but make sure I have a translator when I'm involved in any legal issues.
No one can 'go after him' until there's an investigation. Right now there's just a great deal of smoke. If he or his son benefited from government transactions with the Ukrainians then that is also very illegal under US law.

Gawd....you should see what is known as Question Time.

Pssst, don't tell anyone......but we are in Asia. We have Muslim Indonesia right to the north of us and at a very low tide, they could walk to Australia. (That is almost like a parody.) Australians are largely politically apathetic and would rather have a beer than worry about that stuff. It's only people like me who enjoy observing political antics who take any actual interest.

We have never had a one for one like Donald Trump down here, but the closest to him, one former PM, Tony Abbott got the boot and even lost his own seat. Australians do not warm to wankers like Trump and especially Lawyers like Giuliani who, if he bahaved like that here, would be disbared in a nanosecond. (If you want a funny glimpse into what some of our Lawyers are like...do an iView search of Rake. All will love it. Hilarious.) Mind you, we do have our political idiots, that's for sure. Google Pauline Hanson.

No legal issue being discussed here, and the bloke has a very good command of English. He understood the questions and answered them responsively.

    What 'government transactions?' Be specific.

That's just a couple of minutes. You need to watch the whole thing. But even from this clip do you think his English is 'perfect'?

$1 Billion in loan guarantees. You really don't know about this? That explains a lot.

If Trump can qualify his conversation as being 'perfect,' why deny me the misuse of the same word?

Gawd...that was right out in the open. I have seen that and have previosly commented on it. Biden was doing there what most of the rest of the Planet wanted done. "Get rid of Shokin if you want our money." I have done this dance here many times before Fred, and probably with you among others.

But, what you have not given me any evidence of is how either of the Bidens benefitted.

There is no proof Biden did anything, no probable cause. You can't investigate somebody unless you have that and just associating with someone who has done something is not probable cause. I could talk to John Gotti for days on end and unless they hear him say "Didya Killl X? " they can't investigate either one of us

There is no recording of the call. The transcript was taken by two CIA agents sitting in the same room when the call was made. The transcript was moved to a more secure server to avoid leaking which had happened with previous conversations.

The whistle blower's write memo's - not legal documents.

Yes, I've heard this claim many times , always getting larger, but which countries are they? What leaders said this? There is no evidence that this is true.
This is the best breakdown yet. Watch to the end.

Excuse me, but didn't Biden admit on TV that he had the prosecutor in Ukraine fired?

He was one of the many who pressured the government to fire the prosecutor because he was BLOCKING corruption cases, yes. He was proud of his part in getting rid of a corrupt official and said so. if his son was involved in corruption Biden should have DEFENDED the guy. His son wasn't and neither was Biden. This is a pure Trump smear and blindingly obvious to everyone as such, but the Trumpers will keep repeating it endlessly. Dr Goebbel's ghost must be hugging it's evil ectoplasm in pure delight when he examines the present day Republican Party.

Calm down on the Trump-Aid. A reporter was asking a question--a reporter whom you would attack if he'd asked the same question to a Republican.

Fair enough. It seems to me that there is no need for any Ukrainian assistance as if there is anything untoward in all that, action would have already been taken. I have said befiore...I have no doubt that Biden Jnr's place on the Burisma Board was given to open doors to the US and it clearly has. Corporate Strategy 101.

No, Tump wanted the Ukrainian government to manufacture " a hoax and then have president Zelensky announce the Fake News on CNN.

Subsequently the Ukrainian prosecutorial office has completed an investigation and the conclusion was that there is no evidence of Young Biden having anything to do with any Burisma corruption.

And yet 7 felons later, the swamp is deeper and more repugnant. Dirty Donnie’s solution ? Fire US attorneys investigating his henchmen, throw cases where the guilty party confessed, and pardon convicted felons.

    Third world clean ?

If you have the free time... I get into specifics on how it is possible for problems facing the USA.... to be addressed from here in Canada. Not solved mind you.... but at least we Canadians could begin to set a possible solution in motion.....

I plead guilty to being a Trumpster.......

but to whatever degree I may actually be guilty of also being "revisionist"... it is certainly NOT my intention to do so..... If you are correct and I am guilty of being revisionist... then it is due to my ignorance...... and stupidity...... not malice or ill will !
