    Tax Thee Rich!?

Democrat Politicians are constantly preaching about how they're taxing the rich, so the middle class can have a break. I'm just wondering when and where this break is coming?

Is it coming at the gas pumps any time soon? or is it coming in the cost of our inflation for grocery's any time soon?

When are the Democrat Politicians in America, going to stop making excuses, for what is ultimately, their own fault!!!?

When are Democrat Politicians going to stop lying, and start admitting that they're taxing the middle class more and more? because they're trying to destroy the Middle class in America.

Democrat ran states in America, tend to always be amongst the highest taxed states in America! and that is just part of the reason, why so many people are fleeing these states. Just look at the link below.

What about the 1 percenters, they always preach about though? Owe, you mean like Liberal donors, like Jeffrey Bezos, or Mark Zuckerberg?

Or corporations that fold to the whims of Democrat Politicians in America, when they threaten big corporations if they don't do what Liberal Democrat Politicians tell them! Like moving the all star game.

Its a bait and switch. By 'rich' they mean the folks with the bigger house and nicer car down the street. The billionaires will keep paying no tax regardless of how much we raise their rate because they lobbied to have the tax code written to exempt them. 0 x a higher % is still 0%. You can get the same exemptions ...if you can afford the millions of dollars it costs big league law firms to find all the loopholes for you. If not, then its your taxes that will be raised.

The tax code has to be simplified down to a level that the average non-lawyer non-cpa can navigate before raising anyones rates will tax anyone but us normal folks.

We now know how the Democrats are going to tax the rich, and it takes the form of a 15% minimum tax on corporations.

Billionaires don't pay any tax? Really? Are you sure about that?

    -edit-
According to IRS data for 2019 there were right around 21k returns filed with an income of $10M or more. Those 21k people paid nearly $150B tax. That's an average of more than $7M per taxpayer.

Well sure, not all rich people prefer to pay law firms to get them out of paying taxes instead of just paying taxes... I forgot that if I speak generally and dont specify a number then strawmen will inevitably be built predicated upon an imagined absolute that was never inferred... my bad.

No you don't. What you are wondering is if you can get suckers to repeat a lie.
If you really wondered, you would would have posted evidence that Biden made a corrupt deal.

An inherently evil tax like the personal income tax has to be complicated to be tolerable.

The "Fair" Tax is a ridiculous and dishonest scam to replace a million small, subtle, hidden loopholes for the rich with one giant, obvious loophole: they won't have to pay any taxes.

Why would I waste my time on such trash? I've seen reviews and discussions about it, including an article by Boortz, and I know enough economics to know why it's garbage without having to read it, any more than I have to read books that claim God created the world 6000 years ago, deny the Holocaust happened, or explain how reptile people rule the world to know why they are garbage. You just don't know enough economics to know that. Simple.

Wrong. My opinion means something because unlike yours, it is a reasoned and informed one. If you think you can defend Boortz's silly nonsense, go ahead. I will be happy to disabuse you of your false beliefs.

You can start with this: as Boortz's "Fair" Tax scheme is supposed to replace all other federal taxes, what is to stop rich Americans from just doing all their consuming in other countries, thus avoiding paying any of the "Fair" Tax, or indeed any federal tax at all? That is an option that is obviously open only to the rich, not to ordinary working people, so on what basis do you claim it is fair? Furthermore, if you think the "Fair" Tax can be administered without any IRS, or that people will not try to avoid it by dealing in unreported cash transactions, you are living in a dream world.

No, this, which you cannot answer:

Why don't you? Didn't YOU read the book?

Surely Boortz didn't write a WHOLE BOOK which Bringiton debunked in ONE POST?

    Did he?

One paragraph. But don't be too hard on the guy. Lots of people are persuaded by books I can debunk in one paragraph.
