True, but that also included Gypsy's and homosexuals., so not totally based on religion, just the insanity of one man and his followers.

You asking me? LOL. It’s not important to me, no. You’re choosing a strange hill to die on.

I NEVER mentioned Obama. YOU claimed "nothing from 500 years ago is relevant today." Now your trying to claim that I somehow would "deflect" if you brought up Obama ?

YOU made the claim that nothing from 500 years ago is relevant today, yet the right calls us a "Christian nation" that is founded on the Bible. You leave out that our entire country is built and guided by a document that is almost 300 years old. You dont get to pick and choose Steve. Christians and Muslims BOTH draw their faith and morality from documents that are HUNDREDS of years old, that in no way correlate to what we as a country or society are today. BUT, if you really look at our history, we have been guided by that same Bible for almost all of that time. The founding fathers said we could not have a national religion, but were very clear to say that government couldn't dictate a religion, all the while using their religion to guide their decisions. Less than .04% of congress identifies as atheist. They all use their faith in their voting.

Claiming that religion doesn't drive decisions is disingenuous to the debate Steve. But what your really trying to say is that Muslims kill because of religion, but not Christians ? Jesus might have an opinion on that........Irony anyone.....

Oh now, there's a real sweetie for you. But if you suggest that they should be profiled and rounded up the liberal lawyers would be on you like stink on ****. Why do we have to put up with this kind of crap in our society? Is there even one good reason?

What you're doing is deflecting, what you're not doing is condemning this terrorist and don't even bother mentioning all the dead and injured.

I believe any vehicle capable of going faster than 80 mph should be banned.
The anti gun rhetoric of "Nobody needs an AK-47 to go hunting" could readily be applied to "Nobody needs a car capable of 100 mph to go to the supermarket"
    https://www.fox5vegas.com/2022/03/0...h-before-north-las-vegas-crash-that-killed-9/
The same car used to kill all those people is still openly advertised extolling just how powerful it is.

There were calls to use the same speed limiters in all new cars that is being used in the EU, but was apparently shot down by the auto dealership association because nobody would buy a Ferrari if it's top speed was the same as a Prius.

An example of just that from my home town.

It's an old video and I believe that it stopped after the 'patrol' told the wrong group of people to stop drinking which resulted in fisticuffs.

How does having a Muslim name provide any evidence towards the charge of being a terrorist?

exactly, it's sad, but some religious people can't be happy just believing what they believe and letting others have the freedom to do the same

they think their God will punish them for others not believing like they do

I believe that machine guns are already effectively banned, well new ones anyway, and I'm not sure you can buy a laser 'gun' but due to idiots pointing them at aircraft laser pointers could be banned soon.
So yes, a ban on high performance cars, machine guns and laser weapons.

If Mexico is letting into their country every swinging taqiyah, then they have open borders. A closed or secure border is when you keep the bad guys out.

They're just passing through, so why would Mexico stop them?
"More than 10,000 illegal immigrants from special interest countries Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, and Syria had been arrested at the border between October 2021 and October 2023, according to CBP data published in a Fox News report Tuesday."
