You leave out that our entire country is built and guided by a document that is almost 300 years old. You dont get to pick and choose Steve. Christians and Muslims BOTH draw their faith and morality from documents that are HUNDREDS of years old, that in no way correlate to what we as a country or society are today. BUT, if you really look at our history, we have been guided by that same Bible for almost all of that time. The founding fathers said we could not have a national religion, but were very clear to say that government couldn't dictate a religion, all the while using their religion to guide their decisions. Less than .04% of congress identifies as atheist. They all use their faith in their voting.
