What good is being a part of gov't if one can't make millions, right?

Government service should never result in the kinds of corrupt wealth gathering the likes of Pelosi, Clinton, and Obama have made. Ditto the revolving door "lobbyists and consulting" sham.

Sounds like a FAUX news propaganda dissertation. That’s why they lost $787 million - for allowing defamatory lies.

Check out their net worth when they entered office and what it is today.
Then tell us what they did is legal/ethical.

Fox should not have settled that lawsuit. They did nothing wrong. They exercised their free speech obligations as specified in the Constitution by providing a platform for all opinions. They performed a vital service to our nation.

"Four principles will likely guide the Trump Administration’s actions on the auto industry in the next several months: (a) tariffs to protect domestic auto industry jobs, (b) fighting against mandates that tilt the playing field toward an EV technology that is both widely unpopular especially for load-carrying vehicles, (c) lowering the overall cost of owning reliable transportation for American consumers, and (d) consumer choice, not government mandates, must drive the auto and truck marketplace."

You don’t believe in free speech? It’s in the Bill of Rights. And the Founders relied on the press to ensure that all opinions were heard. Fans of the Chinese Communist Party however are certainly opposed to free speech.

The government didn’t sue FAUX News. Dominion Voting Systems sued them for defamation. FAUX News was guilty as hell, and they knew they would NOT be able to convince a jury. This is why they walked away with their tail between their legs.

The would have won based on application of the Constitution. Fox had commentators both internal and external that gave their opinions based on evidence. Dominion did not like those opinions and sued.

    Agreed.
But you only mentioned 3 out of the hundreds that do become wealthy.
    Or wealthier.

WTF does not believing a media source fined for lying have to do with free speech?

Are you saying people have to believe known liars?

It's the gov't that can't limit free speech. Not what people believe or don't believe.

Fox aired opinions based on the evidence based beliefs of those communicating those opinions. That is freedom of speech. People are free to believe anything they want. People have the right to express their opinions and people also have the right to hear the opinions of others.

Can they "easily" meet those standards without switching to electric?

If not, then your statement would be totally disingenuous.

    That's what Alex Jones thought.
    Then they destroyed him.

Companies pay out big settlements even when they do not think they should have to, because they worry about the risk that they could end up being ordered to pay a lot more money, or be forced to go bankrupt, if they don't.
The courts are not always "fair".

Understood but it is disappointing that Fox didn’t take this all the way in court. Dominion suffered no damages. Although a civil case this could have gone to the Supreme Court.

US automakers have stated that they are introducing or reintroducing PHEVs, which can run on electric or gas.

In other words, you seem to be claiming these regulations are only forcing automakers to convert to partially electric powered vehicles, rather than completely electric vehicles.

For goodness sakes. Alex Jones said that the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary never happened. That it was a hoax. BTW - who is “they”?

If they want to comply. PHEVs have all the functionality, and exceed performance of ICE vehicles, including range. They are much more efficient, with regenerative braking. Manufacturers can continue to sell carbon credits to Tesla if they want. There’s also conventional hybrids, sippers or hydrogen.

He is entitled to his opinion and the public is entitled to hear his opinion and the reasons he believes his opinion is correct.

You as one who believes that increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration is directly responsible for the current global warming should welcome dissenting opinions as defense against those will strengthen your argument.
