A few months ago, I was browsing on the internet and found out that one of the things that people think exists, but doesn't exist, is JIF peanut butter. Well, I remember seeing it and having it as a kid, so I decided to look into it. First, I tried to search the web for JIF peanut butter and look for images and/or the company website, but I found nothing! Then I went to the grocery store and checked out their peanut butter and jelly section, but there wasn't any JIF peanut butter on the shelf. And the shelf was full, so there were no empty spaces where it could have been if the store had run out. That's when I knew I had seriously jumped universes and arrived in a different timeline. Boy, did that get me to pray a little prayer to the Universe, or whatever, that JIF peanut butter had vanished from existence and that I had noticed. A few weeks later, I went to the store, and they had JIF peanut butter! Crisis averted. Now, as of this writing, I can now verify that JIF peanut butter has a website (Jif® Peanut Butter), and I can even find pictures of it on the web now.
Perhaps a very advanced species of extraterrestrial life transported you to an alternate universe where JIF never existed? And then brought you back to this earth? Or have I been watching too many reruns of the original Star Trek?
I love Jif peanut butter and have been eating it my whole life. 'Jiffy' peanut butter however is the one a lot of people remember but never existed. Personally I think its justc common for people to hear 'Jiffy' and mix it up as Jif and Skippy, another peanut butter that does exist.
