Yep....I like all the quick snaps and retorts by the "consortium" here with links like this.

Just goes to show the subtle paranoia and nervousness of the regime and its toadies.

I look forward to referring to what was once the "RuZzian Federation"....:lol:

Neo-Nazi group says it murdered outspoken ex-Ukrainian MP

A neo-Nazi group called National-Socialism / White Power (NS/WP) has claimed responsibility for last week’s murder of Irina Farion, a former Ukrainian ultranationalist lawmaker, several media outlets reported on Wednesday, citing the organization’s private Telegram channel.

Farion, who represented the far-right Svoboda (Freedom) party in the Ukrainian parliament from 2012 to 2014 and was known for her hardline Russophobic stance, was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in the western city of Lviv.

You may find this report at even the always-liberal CNBC site interesting:

"Russia is expected to grow faster than all advanced economies this year."

    https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/17/rus...row 3.2% in 2024, the IMF,%) and France (0.7%).

Remember, this is from the International Monetary Fund (IMF)! Highlights?

"Russia is expected to grow 3.2% in 2024, the IMF said in its latest World Economic Outlook published Tuesday, exceeding the forecast growth rates for the world’s advanced economies, including the U.S.

The forecast will be galling for Western nations which have sought to economically isolate and punish Russia for its 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
    "

But that isn't the worst of it... no, it's the relentless, consistent successes that Russia and the other BRICS countries are having at putting together an international economic system that is targeted on essentially knocking us OUT of our post-WWII 'first place'.

It's from April and was not very interesting when it was posted back then by one of the resident propagandists, actually. Read your own link:

    ...

The head of the IMF told CNBC in February that the Russian economy was still facing significant headwinds despite the Fund’s rosy forecasts for the country of roughly 145 million people.

“What it [the growth data] tells us is that this is a war economy in which the state — which let’s remember, had a very sizeable buffer, built over many years of fiscal discipline — is investing in this war economy,” IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva told CNBC’s Dan Murphy at the World Governments Summit in Dubai in February.

“If you look at Russia, today, production goes up, [for the] military, [and] consumption goes down. And that is pretty much what the Soviet Union used to look like. High level of production, low level of consumption.”

Oh, I understand... because the article is from three months ago, somehow it's now inaccurate and of no value? Take a close look at what the BRICS countries are accomplishing while we sink deeper and deeper into a bottomless chasm of debt, and then tell us that the U.S. is on the right track. But, you'd know better than the International Monetary Fund... right? 8)

And, don't let any of us 'clueless' Independents rain on your 'Crat parade. Kammy will be elevated to her next new job at noon on January 20, 2025 -- and then the joy ride will really get going! :roflol:

If sanctions had actually worked, then I would have expected to see closed businesses and no construction as well as a lack on people out spending. As of two weeks ago when I was in Russia, things were rolling on as usual. There wasn't even a hint of a recession. To the contrary, they just raised rates again to try to stem growth/inflation.

Now I will wait for a usual suspect to tell us all about it even though they've never set foot in the country. You know, the "Russia is doomed/Putin is on his death bed/Russia will be broken up into tiny pieces, etc.", garbage propaganda. :bored:

More mindless parroting of Russo-Republican propaganda. How sad.

I never said it's inaccurate because it's from April. Just pointing out that it is that old and that it was already posted here back then.

It's obvious you either did not read the quoted text I provided or failed to comprehend it. The question I have is why. You are either purposely misrepresenting or otherwise failing to understand what IMF is actually telling us. So once again:

I'm not 'pro-Russia', Bill (although I'll be accused of that almost any minute now). Still in all, I am a realist with a fairly good understanding of how economies work. And, whether anybody loves Putin, or hates him, another fact emerges in examining the man -- not only does he have a Ph.D. in Economics, he evidently learned something from the experience of earning it....

Oh I'm not claiming that you are 'pro-Russia'.

Most people don't even have the guts to make an objective observation of Russia. They are afraid of being labeled a 'Putin propagandist' and all that other garbage.

Fact is they are winning not only on the battlefield, but they are successfully leading the end of US globalism. They manage their resources much better and they are less corrupt than the US. (referring to leadership)

You're not objective, Bill. You ignore reality and spew lies constantly.

LOL @ "less corrupt than the US." You have a real penchant for boldly proclaiming absurdities as if they were true. I have to think you know you're doing that. All part of the Russian propaganda playbook.
