I'm hearing General Lapins kid was whacked by a HIMARS hit somewhere in Donetsk..."Bill"?

That General that ran like a scalded dog from Lyman back in Sept 2022?

I hope it was worth it for him...wait, or should I say WAS IT worth it, in a lost cause...knowing the US Army clobbered his kid....and he'll be carrying this for the rest of his miserable life.

We're only to happy to oblige....

Ukrainians risk jail for filming mobilization
Anyone recording the work of recruiters is interfering with military matters and could be imprisoned for up to eight years, officials
in one Ukrainian region have warned.

"Sharing information on social networks and messenger communities about the locations and movements of the Khmelnytsky Region recruiters as they deliver notices to citizens eligible for conscription leads to the disclosure of forms and methods,” the recruitment center’s press service posted on Facebook on Monday.

Such activities are prosecutable under the law banning the “undermining of the authority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” and obstructing official military business during martial law, the Khmelnitsky recruitment office added. Anyone convicted on these charges could be imprisoned for up to eight years, they said.

Actually Roosevelt’s sanctions got us into the war but that’s immoral to say due to Imperial Japanese war crimes. But indeed, US policy makers today bring us into conflict because as you wisely point out: It has nothing to do with us.

It does not threaten our security, it doesn’t threaten US borders and hell it’s not like we’d be losing a valued trade partner.

Simply, there is no argument other than vague sentiments with nothing behind it

Dude, gas is already expensive as hell. If we’re doing all of this over a savings if 30 cents then thanks for letting us know how nonsensical it is.

Not even close, you dont understand the implications of having the Dollar as the anchor currency. It was just an example as I followed American debates since a long time, that 30 cents more for the gallon is the point when the American public is not willing to take it anymore.

The implication for having the Dollar as the world's anchor currency is that year by year there are hundreds of billions of dollars from all over the world which go directly into your country. It enabled the US to have a huge deficit spending, built up a military industrial complex which lead to successes like the Solocon Valley as the US attracts a lot of the best scientists, engineers and businessmen in the world to go to the US, which gives the US economy and military a solid technological lead in a lot of sectors. Nobody is going to give that up voluntarily and let the Yuan become the world anchor currency, because it would simply be stupid. The consequences would be a shift in the favour of China for all of that and the US economy used to the billions of dollar each year dry out.

All of the things you mentioned, we despise. We’re at 34 trillion and counting and the only thing good that came from it was Silcon Valley?

Since when did California have the right to be an economic chokehold on the union?(Though also a chokehold on themselves as well as they’re up shits creek of debt)

I also don’t see a correlation between the forever wars and the defense of a separate continent and the financial stability of the dollar. I’ve exclusively viewed those in domestic policy and the only way it could differ is the attempt to choke off our trade routes.

I don’t see anyone being able to attempt that or actually pull it off. There’s nothing stopping us from being Switzerland 2.0. Except commitments signed before I and millions of other Americans were born

Ironically it's our trading 'partners' that will be in part responsible for the demise of the dollar. Trade deficits (hello China) are nothing but a transfer of wealth. Thus more borrowing/spending = devaluation of the dollar.

We can't be Switzerland 2.0 in the financial sense because our government and politicians are too stupid and corrupt.

Its of course not only Silicon Valley. Its the overall dynamic of the US Economy. Look at the 10 biggest companies in the world according to market capitalization. Look at the solid tech lead a lot of these companies have, look at the average salarries of an American worker and compare it to other countries.

Silicon Valley is just an example what an asset the byproducts of the military industrial complex can be.

If it comes to currencies its a matter of trust. Thats the reason why the US can afford to have a much higher deficit than e.g. EU, you can capitalize the trust into the dollar. This situation will of course be gone if e.g. China could dictate the oil exporting nations their policy.

Switzerland is a country in the middle of the Alpes which relies extremely on an equilibrium of the forces. Militarily it can be defended easily by cutting its bridges. Nevertheless up to now they always won the bet. Make no mistake, despite its almost invincible when it comes to a military invasion, if the fascists would have won WWII or the Communists the Cold War, they could have easily pressured Switzerland into adapting the victorious system and install a puppet, even without a military invasion.

Although the ukies droned many civilians in the Belgorod region of Russia yesterday/today, they certainly weren't able to bring their terrorism to Moscow on V Day.

We're you in attendance by any chance....."Bill"?

Oh gee...I see it's still chilly there with coats and hats....it'll get warmer I hear....in July?

This party is a bummer "Bill"....no brew-ha-ha, nothing. One T34 (built in Ukraine), and that's it.

By the looks on the faces.....it looks resigned, like they know what's ahead.....and it ain't pretty..."Bill"?

Ate there any ceremonies in Bilhorod?:)

I suspect all those servicemembers will be headed to the "meat grinder" in Ukraine shortly after ceremonies?

Death notice messengers will be paying their families a visit soon.

I do know that talk of a draft is going around. A general draft incentivizes joining the Air Force and the Navy where we really need skilled people. Army will be used to beef up NATO.

Why do you take such joy in the death and suffering of innocent people, "Bill"? The Ukrainians didn't choose to have their homeland invaded and their cities blown up by an angry little man who thinks he should control their land and their lives, and does not care how much death and suffering he causes to get that.

Ukraine creates a secret network of underground factories to revive its arms industry
    Thursday, May 9, 2024 4:10:02 PM

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky spearheads the near-total reconstruction and repurposing of the country’s defence industry for ambition beyond self-reliance. This move seeks to establish Ukraine as a formidable arms and ammunition production hub for the West, says El Mundo’s journalist Alberto Rojas.

Rojas posits that various conflicts are being waged in Ukraine. One, he dubs 'the war of the past,' is characterised by daily artillery fire and trench-to-trench combat reminiscent of the 1916 Battle of Verdun during World War I—known for its gruesome attrition. In contrast, there's the contemporary 'war of the present,' dominated by drones ruling the skies and seas. Alongside these, unseen battles for the future are progressing.

The Spanish journalist reports that Ukraine is building a network of disguised, covert underground factories, orchestrated by the Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kubrakov. Sources indicate that Ukraine has tripled production since 2023, rolling out various drones, including maritime and land-based, as well as Kozak armoured personnel carriers, Neptune missiles, and Stugna anti-tank systems.

    ... https://uawire.org/ukraine-creates-...ground-factories-to-revive-its-arms-industry#

Sounds like a bit of a debacle for the orcs. They are unlikely ever to reach or destroy such facilities, and in time Ukraine will even be capable of supplying western countries.

Previously destroyed Mariupol looking pretty good after the Special Denazification Operation removed the riff-raff swastika azovs. Rebuilding and clean up going quite well. Even having their own little spontaneous V Day celebration. If this was the US, we'd have the alphabet crew out their protesting in support of nazis.

    "Rebuilding and cleanup going well?"

Seems too good to be true "Bill".....the last few minutes is of apartments and vehicles driving by....with no signs,or markings. Well choreographed it seems?

    Doubtful it's Mariupol.

Propaganda only works on those who want to be fooled by it. Rational people don't take Z propaganda at face value. It's those who have personal issues that cause them to seek some comfort in believing in Putler and his narratives who will cling to such propaganda to support the quasi religious beliefs they have already chosen to hold.

    Yeah....true.

This could be some city in Siberia for anyone else knows.

The camera person seems quite selective of locations and venues.

I didn't look at it, but yeah, could be anywhere, could be Potemkin "repairs". Who knows? Doesn't really matter. They never should have bombed it to rubble in the first place. It was not their city to roll in and take by force.

This is a screenshot of the car standing at the cross. 3.12 min of the video. The plates are clearly seen and are assigned to Donetsk region (80). If you do not believe it is Mariupol, it is your problem.

Cause it would be so hard to drive a car from Donetsk to wherever they decided to film this propaganda piece, right? Or to find a city in Donetsk that hadn't been bombed to rubble by the orcs.
