    They both are from the line of Abraham. Different mothers, same father. Brothers in more ways than not. Yet they are killing each other. It doesn't make sense.

    It is not as simple as that.

    Israel has long pre-dated Balfour.
    The People arguing for Palastine point at Balfour as a means of declaring Israel illegitimate, when those lands were legally acquired and bought with Bills of sale.

    That is a vanilla Israeli propaganda perspective. it doesn't not reflect the reality of the conflict. I guess you aren't familiar with what today would be called ethnic cleansing of a couple hundred thousand (at least) arabs from conquered israeli territory.

    Israel did not long pre date Balfour. There was a kingdom of Israel two millenium ago, but the chain of ownership since that time has rendered any claim of ownership in the 20th century ludicrous.

    Other than that, I am a zionist in so far as I believe in Israel's continued existence. I do not excuse their actions but they are a legitimate sovereign nation looking out for their own interests. The palestinians are not a legitimate sovereign nation, yet, and that's a fact.

    When The Holy Bible refers to Palestina in The Holy Bible, what location is it referring to?

    http://abibleconcordance.com/p001.htm#p028

    And what about the word Palestine?

    http://abibleconcordance.com/p001.htm#p029

    Where is Damascus?

    http://abibleconcordance.com/d001.htm#d020

    For,

    behold,

    in those days,

    and in that time,

    when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

    3:2. I will also gather all nations,

    and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,

    and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel,

    whom they have scattered among the nations,

    and parted my land.

    3:3. And they have cast lots for my people;

    and have given a boy for an harlot,

    and sold a girl for wine,

    that they might drink.

    3:4. Yea,

    and what have ye to do with me,

    O Tyre,

    and Zidon,

    and all the coasts of Palestine?

    will ye render me a recompence?

    and if ye recompense me,

    swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;

    3:5. Because ye have taken my silver and my gold,

    and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:

    3:6. The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians,

    that ye might remove them far from their border.

    Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

    1:9. The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD;

    the priests,

    the LORD’S ministers,

    mourn.

    1:10. The field is wasted,

    the land mourneth;

    for the corn is wasted:

    the new wine is dried up,

    the oil languisheth.

    1:11. Be ye ashamed,

    O ye husbandmen;

    howl,

    O ye vinedressers,

    for the wheat and for the barley;

    because the harvest of the field is perished.

    1:12. The vine is dried up,

    and the fig tree languisheth;

    the pomegranate tree,

    the palm tree also,

    and the apple tree,

    even all the trees of the field,

    are withered:

    because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

    1:13. Gird yourselves,

    and lament,

    ye priests:

    howl,

    ye ministers of the altar:

    come,

    lie all night in sackcloth,

    ye ministers of my God:

    for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

    This leads me to ask... Is Palestine as 'righteous' as many say Islam is righteous or are they also just as the rest of the 'unbelievers' in their ways of living freely and without moral and sexual and neighborly 'restraint'?

    Luke 12:15-21 "And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.16And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: 17And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? 18And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. 19And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.20But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

    BECAUSE.... the way Islam is portrayed all around the world, with the extremists and the migrants and the immigrants, Islam is being portrayed as a 'righteous' agenda-ed Religion and faith. Why would Islam be receiving so much attention now days if it was NOT going against the other non believers' ways? So if a person was to look at it from the Faith -versus- the world, or Righteousness -versus- Corruption way, since Islam is a world Religion it would almost automatically put the Muslims, who call themselves Muslims and who stand up for Islam, as the 'righteous doers' of the Religion of Islam. I have not heard why they do what they do, but I, perhaps naively, gave them the benefit of the doubt because they 'exalt' God, and therefore what they have done or do was or is in line with The Qur'an.

    However, since murder and personal space violations is just flat out against the Law(s), people began studying what The Qur'an itself actually said rather than taking what others 'persons' said about the Faith of Islam, as truth. With one verse being posted out of context, many began to think Islam was violent against any non Muslim. But when the same verse was put back into the context of the surrounding verses, that particular verse had a completely different meaning. So now people are beginning to wonder why they even use the name of Islam in their lives if they themselves are not too knowledgeable about The Sacred Texts they supposedly have submitted themselves into following and adhering to. But The Qur'an is a Righteous Book and is A Sacred Text. So.. are Muslims, those submitted to God, really righteous in Palestine as The Qur'an helps them to know of?

    I will give a two step introduction.

    Chapter 1:

    In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
    [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
    The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
    Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
    It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
    Guide us to the straight path -
    The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

    Chapter 2:47

    O Children of Israel, remember My favor that I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

    John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

    way: 3598. hodos:
    road, way, journey

    Apparently a primary word; a road; by implication, a progress (the route, act or distance); figuratively, a mode or means -- journey, (high-)way.

    Although both Israel and The Gentile world have fallen further and further into 'whoredom' and 'unrighteousness', keeping in mind Covenants as well as personal relationships with God, in doing 'good' and not 'evil' is what God holds honorable. HE does not hold in esteem man made ideas but HE holds in honor those individuals who first Honor Him and His Way(s). God is not too greatly to be 'feared' if you have nothing to worry about. It is easier to love God than it is to fear (in dread) God. Doing the 'good' things should cause no reason to have any 'dread' towards God. It is like a normal citizen verses an illegally doing citizen. With the police as the 'watchman', those citizens that are not doing anything wrong or illegal does not really need to 'fear' the police. They are not trying to 'not get caught'. But for those that are doing illegal things, if they are caught by the police they can go to prison and so those that do illegal (things) fear being caught more so than fear the police.

    But why would anyone have any 'fear' whatsoever of those who protect and are just and defend, just as God protects, defends and is Just?

    Do you fear being caught cheating on a school exam while your teacher is in the same room sitting at his/her desk?

    Teachers protect, defend and most of the time, are just. Why else would they be called, 'teachers'?

    There are those that 'teach' bad. There are those that 'teach' good. There are bad teachers and good teachers... God is a Good Teacher.

    And then there are 'teachers' that don't teach anything except their own personal desires and ideas in what they teach and what to teach and to what extent they want to teach. Philosophers are known for this. Some even teach 'opinions' for facts.

    There are many philosophers.... The LORD God IS ONE.

    here is a play on words...

    the word 'many' has 1 letter more than the word 'one'. And no other word has less than 3 letters to represent a Person other than the word 'he'.

    'many' has 4 letters. 'one' has 3. 'he' has 2.

    I could use the word 'I', but that would be self representation that only God can truly do.

    If you were to add another letter to the word 'ONE', there would be 1 too many for The LORD God to be The LORD God which would then be put into the 'lot' of the 'many' one(s).

    Unfortunately, many one(s) eventually become statistics.

    James 4:14 "Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

    vapour: 822. atmis :
    vapor.

    From the same as aer; mist -- vapour.

    aer: 109. aér
    air.

    From aemi (to breathe unconsciously, i.e. Respire; by analogy, to blow); "air" (as naturally circumambient) -- air.

    Lots of errors,
    Balfour ? 1948 and Israel from the profit Samuele, then King Saul and King David predate Balfour by a huge margin !
    No, Israel's claim predated Balfour by a huge margin.
    Palestinian aims have always been the total annihilation of Israel, no less.

    what stupidity...follow this stupid logic the USA should give way to an native american nation and an apartheid state, all non native americans need to give up citizenship, submit themselves to native american military occupation and carry ID cards as they travel from one tiny enclave to another...native american claim to the land predates non native occupation by over 15,000 yrs which dwarfs the jewish claims to Palestine

    Except they aren't and never have been a sovereign nation. I do agree they are belligerently militarily occupied, but of course, the only way to relieve an occupation is either by war, which I believe the palestinians and their arab allies have tried on a number of occasions OR by waging peace.

    And given the history is anyone surprised that the occupation has been going on for 50 years? Seems BOTH sides prefer the status quo to actually sorting out this clustermuck.

    Actually, they have been. And the proof of that is in both the archaeological record as well as in the Bible.

    After the collapse of the Hittite Empire, the kingdom that sprang up in what is now Syria and Turkey was Palistin. We know of them in the Bible as Philistines.

    The problem is mostly that it is almost impossible to really connect groups alive today with distant ancestors over 3,000 years ago. At that time in history, the people we now know of as the French were still living in the Rhine river region.
