Oh, how wonderful the Ignore List is. To be able to share the Good News and not have to read the postings of men who hate God and those that follow Jesus. So, refreshing. Don't you think?

 

You can cover you ears, mouth, eyes, nose and anything else that might let the truth in, but that does not change the facts.

 

'This' generation is the generation that shall see those things that Christ has stated. Such as the abomination of desolation set up in the temple. False Christs. The begining again of the nation of Israel. (32-33)

He didn't say 'your' generation shall not pass away. He said 'this' generation that sees these things.

Jesus is speaking to the disciples about their generation.

Yes He does. "When ye shall see all these things....This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled".

He doesn't say 'your' generation. He doesn't say 'my generation'. This generation that sees these things.

At the moment of Salvation or after Baptism? Water Baptism or Baptism in the Holy Spirit?

Ye .. means the disciples. That is who Jesus is talking to.

In plain english .. When you fellows sitting before me see these things come to pass ..

Jesus uses the term "ye" many times in this chapter .. each time refering to the disciples.

"When ye see the abomination of desolation"
"Pray ye that your flight not be in winter"

"and ye shall hear of wars but be ye not troubled"

'So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors'.

The disciples asked when the end of the age/world will come. Jesus says .. when ye see this, and when ye see that, when ye hear this and so on.

Jesus is clearly refering to the disciples and in no place is it suggested that he is referring to future people.

Then after all the "ye shall see this and ye shall see that" Jesus says,

Jesus first tells the disciples what they are going to see and then tells them that their generation will not pass until all the things that Jesus said they would see earlier in the chapter come to pass.

 

Yes, when His disciples see these things. But it is the generation of disciples that sees these things. Its not 'your' generation. Its the generation that sees these things.

What I am saying Russian Synodal translation clearly shows that you are correct. There is no possible confusion with "your generation". I am still surprised how patently you can communicate with trolls. It is not like I want to learn, I do not, but it is quite amasing.

My fault. I should have been more clear. If this generation was used in the meaning Wong Kim wants to prescribe to it, the totally different word would be used – this поколение,
род сей does have meaning this generation includes many поколений of the same type … roughly speaking

 

It is not like I personally have too much to do to the wisdom you see, but thank you brother and God bless you too.
