All people who think the shutdown should continue.....stay home....but don't ask to be supported by those who are brave.
All other people who aren't collecting welfare or other gubbment support, and who need an income, return to work and reopen your businesses.

For most people they won't even notice they have been infected.

You will be "at risk" until the day you die.
And the overwhelming odds say you won't die from covid-19

To be exact, there are still too many variables to "nail" it all down.
Like many things in recent memory, perhaps we should give more time for all the facts to come to light.

While stopping interactions between people may (or may not) have helped mitigate the virus spread, we don't yet know what the overall cost will be for doing a shutdown.

Like I've pointed out many times, a growing crisis on the horizon is millions of people who's health care has been neglected and put on hold while fear mongering has shut down a large swath of routine health care for millions.

as I said, too many variables.

 

A final thought.....
regardless of how long we try to keep the nation on lockdown, the virus is not going away and will be lurking.
Chances are we will see a re-emergence of COVID-19 for years to come.

As always, man's best chance against this (and any) virus or pandemic is herd immunity, accepting that some are going to perish.
