Well, when So Cal got spit on last night, we are feeling almost human, it's like the universe was punishing us with 10 days of extreme heat and now today I am warm but not clammy. This pattern of spitting on us is coming from a hurricane in Baja CA I'm hearing.

 

We've been real fortunate out here on the East Coast. It's been 80 years since we've gotten this far into hurricane season without seeing a storm.

And now that I've jinxed everyone we'll probably get creamed by a Cat 5 monster next month...

 

For me, summer is over. I got accustomed to knowing when autumn has truly come. There is this cold air that you feel in your bones, all of a sudden. But midday you have to wear shorts, it's still hot.
It is the time to harvest the vineyard.

 

Here in CA, mother nature is keeping this very comfortable wise weather state, in a 12 day heat wave, a sickening heat wave, worst in my 57 yrs living here.

 

The weather here is lovely and Mother Nature is wearing her Autumn finery. This is the best time of year to live in Virginia....

 

We are cooling off and warming up which is normal this time of year. We did have frost one morning and temps in the high 20's now we are 70's in the day time and 50's at night.

 

In my part of Oklahoma the high is 46 today. When it 100 degree F here I'm happy. 46 degrees make me feel like I have the flu. So...I'm a wuss.

 

It's usually quite warm here. If we are lucky, it drops down to the 50s (my preferred environment . . . where I walk around in sandals and shorts and the sloppiest grin on my face). We did have that famous freeze a couple of years ago that I'm still emotionally recovering from. I like being cold, but I don't like power being out for over a week and sleeping in my bed in ski clothes.

 

We are getting our coldest weather of the winter. -12 degrees C or 10 degrees F. is as colds as it gets and it doesn't last long. About 34 F tonight and into the teens later this week.

 

We had "cold front" go through yesterday here in the middle of Florida. It's not going to reach 70 degrees today. The weather with be sunny with high of 69. It's going to be below normal, which is around 73 for a high for the next week or so.

 

Ft Lauderdale, here. I think we get to open the windows this weekend. It would be awesome to watch Red Zone channel in our backyard paradise!

 

Very chilly for Santa Monica, and I sleep in a shirt or on colder nights a fleece jacket,

Mountain areas hit with miles of snow, good for the ski world.

Icemeggedon in Dallas/Fort Worth. Everybody stayed home. I didn't even get my Jeep out. I wish I had joined a Jeep club and helped. Maybe next year.

Frigid 63f and sunny in San Diego. Some folks are wearing socks with their sandals.

 

Yesterday there in Kazan was a very strong wind and frost -7C. And I went alpine skiing with my friends. At the top point, the snow is chalk like on the top of Mount Everest. ))) I almost froze my fingers off. And today 0

 

Sun has been shinning all day today, hopefully the start of better weather, kinda depressing with winter and the rain in the last few months

 

Here in So CA we have not been near 70 for probably 3 months, and normally we get some 70 days in winter...not this winter...today is 70 something and SUN is nice and I hear close to 80 this weekend.

Joints have cried a lot for 3 months...

 

67 degrees today here in Alabama. The heat will soon on.

 

In our area (Kazan), every day the daytime temperature is about 10 degrees C (50F), and one day it was 18 C (64F). This is a very early spring, in previous years such a temperature began only at the beginning of May.

 

We’re getting some beautiful weather, and on the cool side. I try to spend as much time as I can tending to my yard and our vineyard. Good exercise and I don’t have to worry about not getting enough of it.
