Again... that legal aspect. I already explained it's an utter joke of an argument, since it's also legal somewhere to toss gay people of buildings.

And it's far easier to make them white middle age men stop hunting than trying to change a corrupt dirt poor african nation.

so tell me how is it easier to get someone not todo something which is perfectly legal to do?
now you make it illegal you have a fighting chance but to do that would require those African nations to make it illegal Sounds like a good position the UN should consider
never mind we are talking about the same UN that puts nations on the human rights council that allows gays to be thrown off buildings

Hmm. Doesn't look like a baby to me. And it has tusks. Does anyone know the true story behind these pictures, before the cut/paste and editorializing?

Figures and graphs being present does not mean what is being presented is actually legitimate. Relying on the presence of graphs is nothing more than an intellectually deficient appeal to authority.

You can toss a gay person of a building legally in some countries. So I fail to see how "it is legal" makes it a legit argument.

Read everything National Geographic says with an open mind without looking for confirmation of your bias.

you claimed it was 22,000, and your source says its just 3,900.
Everything else is just to get you there in an all inclusive environment.

You think Trump would be happy with getting 3,900 for a trophy kill with this governmental shut down? lol It's a freaking little tip. And so obviously these "reservations" don't work as my sources prove with the numbers.

that 3900 is just the price of the animal its self that doesn't include all the other fees as in the governments cut
learn some reading comprehension will you

You're probably right. I don't believe that a professional outfitter would organize the hunt of a baby elephant. Doesn't make sense.

It would be the same crap of fees, if you just took a photo. Learn to read better yourself
That 3900 for killing an animal is not going to put a dent in any need for some budget. Get real. lol

I put up 2 sources who basically say the same thing..... both using numbers to back it up.
That's a lot better than a source that only vents an opinion.

And the race card is played ignoring the fact that countries run by blacks are where these white guys go to kill large animals

Wrong on every count. Domestic livestock is slaughtered as soon as it's reached marketable weight, that's not a long life.
As for comfortable wild herbivores live a very comfortable life without the help of man and I'd rather roam free than live in an overcrowded enclosure ankle deep in mud and feces eating from a feeding trough instead of browsing what nature supplies.
Your point of view is unfortunately becoming more prevalent though as more people become so urbanized and lose touch with nature. It's a sign of the times.

    no it wouldn't
am I required to get a hunting license and buy deer tags if all I'm doing is going into the woods to take pictures of deer?
What those African countries charge is equivalent as buying a hunting license and tags to go hunt in their country

Your point was that it adds a lot of money that get used in some good way. And that point has now been disproved. It aint a lot of money, compared to a tourist who comes over to take a picture.

controlled hunting is actually a part of humane conservationism
If wasn't for deer hunting in my state deer would become over populated and starve hunting thins the population so they don't starve
and its against the law to leave the deer after you kill it you have to take it to be processed for your consumption or that of others to consume
a lot of deer meat is giving to charities as in soup kitchens or shelters to help feed the needy
