Such over the top moronic hysteria! The fact that he is considered a " presidential contender" is very frightening!!

As long as these zanies spout off within the confines of media entertainment, they're relatively harmless to all the decent folks who prefer reality.

We only have a problem when these ideological fanatics can't distinguish and shut down Yellowstone in an ineffectual temper tantrum over the nation adopting Willard Romney's healthcare coverage scheme that results in only 4% uninsured in Massachusetts rather than that of Carnival Cruz's Texas with its record-high 20% whose medical expenses are routinely dumped on the taxpayer.

With 60% of Americans now opposing gender discrimination in marriage contracts, his retrogressive ramblings are hardly realistic.

    :confusion::confusion::confusion::confusion:

My only question is- Is he really mentally ill or just trying to get the equal opportunity sympathy vote. I also have that same question with regards to Huckabee and Santorum.

I really think Cruz is about ready to release a book deal in about two years because there is no way this guy is going to gain traction outside a few social conservative circle-jerk parties.

Early this morning, Texas GOP Senator Ted Cruz announced his intention to run for president on Twitter, but let’s not forget Cruz’s long standing anti-LGBT history.

For years now, Cruz has stood on the wrong side of history against the LGBT community. The Texas Senator has proved his homophobia time and time again, and shown a willingness to use the LGBT community to create divisions in order to advance his own career.

More than 60 percent of American voters support marriage equality, but Cruz is not one of them. http://www.hrc.org/blog/entry/ahead...ts-ted-cruzs-history-of-rhetoric-against-lgbt

All of this bloviating about Cruz's citizenship is useless. For one thing, there is plenty else to beat him up over. For another, he probably is a "birthright citizen" which for all practical purposes makes him a "natural born citizen" You can't just decide that he 's not a citizen because he was born in Canada. We need to know more about the circumstances of his American Citizen mother and the status of his father.

Cruz was born in a foreign country as was his father - therefore he is unfit for the White House. Terribly ironic that he is against immigration reform when he and his dad are immigrants.

Cruz would be lucky to get 40% of the vote in a general election. He makes Santorum look reasonable. Reagan was not a religious whack job like this carnival barking buffoon. If the GOP is crazy enough to nominate him, say hello to president Hillary (landslide) Clinton, screeching about her mandate to govern. Cheers

I heard Ted Cruz was born in Canada. That will disqualify him won't it?

If he was born in Canada he is not an American citizen. He may as well have been born in Kenya.

I want to see Ted Cruz's long form birth certificate. I want proof he is an American citizen and is qualified under the Constitution to run for President.:salute:

Obama's Mom was an American citizen and that didn't stop the birthers from harrassing him.

I did say that. The circumstances are different

In the case of Obama, the birthers stupidly persisted in questioning his PLACE of birth

In the case of Cruz, no one is disputing his place of birth. Like Obama, he was born to an American Citizen mother and had a non citizen father.

HOWEVER, before we can conclude that he was or was not born as a US citizen, there are details about his parents that we need to know as I explained above. Otherwise it's all useless bloviating. Got it now?

Obama, born in Kenya, did not have a mother that met the age/residency requirement as Cruz's mother did.

Cruz's BC is at least authentic, unlike Obama's.

Agreed, and not because of citizenship issues.

Any person who votes for a liberal democrat like Obama has no right to complain about the Christianity of someone like Cruz.

In fact any person who voted for Obama on religious grounds may as well draw a pentogram on their living room floor and sell their souls.
