You show me someone who claims to have seen god and I'll show you someone who isn't entirely sane.

There are many descriptions and no consensus.

    How do you know?

The only evidence that suggests that is the Bible. The Bible has been proven wrong on many counts. Why would it be right about this?

I think that it extremely important that you know every last detail about a being you let rule your lif through the words of men.

    That's what I said....

Not really. You just have to trick yourself into ignoring logic when it interferes with your faith.

Theories can change. Scientific beliefs aren't absolute. They are based on the most recent evidence available.

Black holes are a prediction of Einsteins relativity theory. If black holes do not exist then relativity has failed as a theory of gravity. Then it's back to the drawing board. As opposed to "We're right no matter what happens and I'm going to believe whatever this book tells me, even if people give me a million reasons not to believe it."

Unlike religion, science betters itself. That is the evolution of scientific thought vs Religion. At first Science was a religious endeavor. Then scientists started finding thing things that didn't agree with the church. That was the end of that love story.

Interesting. So you don't believe 100%?

The sun doesn't rise, the earth spins. I believe it will continue to do so based on historical data. I understand that a meteor could hit earth today and then the earth would not be in a spinning condition anymore.

Science gives us evidence for all these things you are telling me require faith. That just isn't true.

You should totally put "Rev A" in your Signature so you don't have to type it at the end of every post.

If I'm mean then you can be sure I'm serious.

Yes, however its difficult to determine if someone is serious or mean! Or seriously mean when its anonymous. Face to face is much better, there is body language facial expressions and voice analysis, as well as the size of pupils all indicators of a persons emotional state. Well I suppose it could be detrimental in other areas though.

That said my new thread might alter some emotional states! Title; Extreme 'Evangelical Atheism vs. Moderate Atheism and Traditional Christianity'..

If by emotional state you mean getting drowsy and bored after skimming a few sentences of your opening post then yes.
