The Post reports, "Moments after President Trump announced that Vice President Pence will take over the White House’s coronavirus task force, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed that a northern California person has contracted the coronavirus without traveling outside the United States or coming in contact with another patient known to have the infection — the first sign that the disease may be spreading within a local community."

That is so typical of Trump. Instead of selecting a doctor to be in charge of a surging pandemic, he appoints his very own political hack, and one of the most incompetent, obsequious politicians in Washington. Just the kind of man Trump wanted, a loyal lapdog.

While 3 states are still spending millions of taxpayer dollars to clean up the contaminated super fund sites left behind by the former Pence families bankrupt gasoline stations and oil sales businesses in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois. Over $20 Million already spent and some of the sites are still poisoning peoples drinking water wells.Lots of money still needed to finish cleaning up their mess.

Dude's it is a multiagency task force. If this gets out of control you need some to operate as a clearing house for info sharing between these different agency.

Remember 9/11 largely happened because various intelligence agencies did not or could not share information so no one had the whole picture until after the buildings fell.

Based on last evening's press conference it looks like Pence will act as the government agency coordinator in response to a team of expert researchers and physicians needs. Having Pence act as a facilitator is a good move.

Looks like the White House is getting its act together.
