"Trump breaks protocol, sends markets a clear signal on jobs report before numbers are released"

"President Trump on Friday broke with decades of protocol and commented publicly about the highly anticipated jobs report data 69 minutes before they were released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics."

"The jobs data come out once a month and often can lead to massive buying or selling trends on Wall Street, depending on how the information is received. It is extremely closely held and kept under tight control until it is released at 8:30 a.m. on the first Friday of each month. A select number of administration officials receive the data the day before, but officials are prohibited from tipping their hand about what the numnerds reveal"

"The 1985 rule that bars White House officials from releasing details of jobs reports ahead of time was written by the Reagan administration. All employees of the executive branch who receive prerelease distribution of information and data estimates are responsible for assuring that there is no release prior to the official release time the rule says."

And yet not a whisper in the right wing media

This and the purposeful pardons all in one week would have had the talk demogogues and Fox "regular contributors" up in arms if it had been Obama, we've be seeing cries for investigations and inquires, Hannity would be popping blood vessels

Wonder if his pal Martha Stewart got the signal early enough to cash in

Why, he is the one responsible for getting the economy moving, all Trump had to do is not blow it, and your post had absolutely nothing to do with the topic, having difficulties processing information?

President Trump, extend your hand. Whap! There, satisfied? The difference is that Obama and company LIED about the economy for eight straight years and everyone -- probably including most leftists, if they were inclined to be honest about it -- knew it; but Trump has no need to lie since pretty much the economy has been roaring since he became president, since -- unlike Obama -- Trump is actually pro-business and pro-capitalism.

Although he should NOT have released the information early, it doesn't really matter since everyone -- including leftists if they were inclined to be honest -- KNOWS that the economy is robust under Trump and that all of it is due to Trump's policies.

Still you are correct. Whap! Baaaaaaad president. Obey the rules . . . or officially change them.

Bwahaha, no. Trump is not pro-business and pro-capitalism. He's a protectionist. And what economic indicator can he take credit for? Unemployment has been falling on the same trend line under him as it did under Obama. The best he can take credit for is not ****ing it up.

I'm celebrating the job numbers. I'm just also mourning the fact that Trumpeters fail at reading graphs.

They attacked him over the color of his suit, if he had done most of the things that Trump has done they would have been calling for his head on a stake. He drained the swamp alright, but just so he could hire them.

So i the economy keeps growing during the 8 years of Trump administration you will keep for 8 years claiming that it is still Obama's economy?

Dude, who do you think is dumb enough to buy this utter nonsense. We are celebrating 1.5 years of Trump's economy and it rocks.

It was never "Obama's economy" just like it isn't "Trump's economy." It is the US economy and the way both sides credit/blame the President, as if he held the keys to it, borders on superstition. You can celebrate all you like. I just wish you'd actually get your facts straight. Unemployment has been falling at a fairly steady rate for the past 8 years. That is an objective fact. Anyone capable of reading a graph can see this. The idea that the trend didn't matter for the past several years, but now that Trump (who apparently has a time machine) is around it is suddenly due to him is just being willfully ignorant of the facts.

Come on, people. It isn't even a complicated graph.

Obama "lied about the economy," which is noticeable you didn't prove, but Trump has no need to lie, then why in the hell does he do so much of it?

And, as a little lesson for you, the economy was advancing before Trump took office, all he has to do is not blow it, keep your finger s crossed

So the chart confirms that unemployment rate is dropping like a rock under Trump. Other charts show that the stock market, GDP growth, new jobs are all through the roof, the median income is growing, the consumer confidence is sky high under Trump. What are you arguing again?

None of that post had absolutely anything to do with economic news, so I don't know where you came up with the "bitching, whining and wringing" fabrication other than the fact you just flat out made it up

The only thing that's good about it is the unemployment rate. Wage growth still crap, stock market has jumped around the same point for about six months, allies pissed off at us due to protectionist policies which free marketers once trumpeted.

How did Obama lie about the economy?

Conservatives believe tax cuts are the way to fix the US economic problems. I believe fixing our education and training systems are.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act for beginners, put more money into circulation to address recession and saved a good number of States in the process

    "Dropping like a rock"

So you're saying that it dropped like a rock under Obama too, then, right? Also, what GDP growth are you touting? We're still at around 2%, which is much less than Trump promised.

Wrong, Trump inherited an advancing economy, indisputable fact, Trump's only accomplishment is that he hasn't blown it

It appears to be a feeble attempt to construct a strawman to fight against later or it's flame bait.

I will answer that. Let me think here for a minute, let's see, well he um, er, he, give me a minute, what he did was.....well he ahhhh, er... ah he um he gave billions of dollars to Iran, no wait, that didn't help, he had his EPA destroy the ability for business....no wait that is not a good example,.......Oh, he hired a bunch of czars and they probably spent money at local eateries, there you go. Thank you Obama.

You may want to actually look at the stock market. Especially every time Trump teases a trade war. As far as the graph goes, did you just skip reading the dates? Income growth? Same rate as under the last year's of Obama.

Up 40% since Trump was elected, within a couple of percentage points of all time high record it achieved under Trump. Pretty amazing, don't you think?
