It's a good time to be a white guy. Hopefully all of the lost immigration can be offset by jobs being swallowing by AI in time, since our birthrates aren't high enough to do what needs to be done without immigrants. I bring up immigration because removing things like DEI makes America a place of fewer opportunities for non-whites, so will discourage brain drain immigration from other countries. This is likely a bad thing long-term, but a boon short to medium term for white males. (in case you're wondering I am a white male).

So you are arguing that the end of various DEI/Affirmative Action programs means that highly educated and skilled non whites from other countries won't want to come to the US because they are not going to get as big a leg up?

I'm not following that. I can understand why it might discourage bad to mediocre skill level immigrants, but why would it discourage the creme de la creme of immigrants?

 

Orientals have nothing to worry about, because they tend to be even more intelligent than whites.

 

Millions of blacks will be fired from jobs they never deserved to get. This will open opportunities for whites and East Asians who have the IQ power to perform well.

 

Looks like agencies are trying to hide their DEI departments.




Hopefully they go after and fire the people authorizing this.

 

It will be much easier to end affirmative action in the private sector. Unless they are themselves Negroes few bosses would rather hire unqualified Negroes than qualified whites and Asians.

 

DEI is the lefts religion. It replaces our equality in the God of American freedom, with mediocrity within the constraints of an image. It's tyranny from every angle and belongs in the trash. I'm glad the Trump admin has the good sense to abort it.

Not just the white guy. I worked for a company where the IT dept was 95% Indian (only 2 Americans, me and another guy), and it was frowned upon, because they too had a diversity policy. With this declaration, they can have even 100% Indian and no one can complain. Likewise, companies can be all black, and all gay, and white straight folks need not apply.

I have worked 34 yrs for companies with diversity policies and never seen anyone be hurt by them.

 

The racist purge has begun. How do you define a diversity hire? Anyone not a white male.

We did ok from 1776 to 2021 without DEI. We did fine before 2021 without Bidens massive influx of illegal immigrants. There is no brain drain via illegal immigrants. What makes you think this is a bad thing long term
