He is not just "in decline", he is manifesting symptoms of psych dirsorders. Most of which have been discussed here before but ignored by the MAGA gang.........as they seem in as much denial about him as he is about his own dysfunction. Symptoms in both areas have biome more pronounced in the past two years ........probably due to the stress of legal issues (that he claims innocence on) and the precures of the campaign. He has not stopped campaigning since he began the first time around. Because he has overshadowed Biden in making certain he maximizes his media presence, Biden can quietly work at the job he has responsibility for.........but is not recognized for it as he does not blow his horn at every opportunity, or draw attention to himself like a two year old.
For someone that is so image conscious as he is, he is a very negative image of/ for the nation. His obvious admiration for dictators is a red flag .....

Test for mental and physical health.

Your boy talks about being tested. it's like most of what comes out of his lying mouth--BS. He sexually assaults women, runs crooked businesses, stiffs contractors, runs phony schools, tries to steal elections, appoints Justices who take away women's rights. and on and on.

Both men have baggage -- and both men have run the country -- and Trump did a much much better job. So, we're not electing a Sunday school teacher, a padre, or a pope -- we're electing a fallible man to run the country. You like high inflation, open border, liberal judges, liberal soft-on-crime DA's, then vote for Biden. Otherwise vote for the man with the best record -- Trump. Easy choice.

We are claiming its likely an amphetamine. It's already known. They started using it for leaders in ww2. It has serious side affects.

Side note about American medicine to anyone - They'd rather give rambunctious kids amphetamine instead of base curriculums on more energic kids due to costing reasons. Hence why if you can afford it always find the right situation for your child!

I couldn’t listen to his monotone rant very long. He also displays his bias very quickly so whatever he has to say isn’t worth listening to. He’s one of those people that back up lies. He probably called the laptop fake news and Russian propaganda as well. He’s nothing but a puppet

No, I beg to differ. He grew the economy in his first years (before covid) at the same rate as Obama did in his last three.

    IMG_0624.jpeg

He doubled the budget deficit to more than $1t before covid.

He got nowhere in foreign trade with only some agriculture sales to China, and limited auto production from Mexico in renegotiating NAFTA. He showed weakness toward Russia and Putin, got no trade deal with Asia or Europe while Canadians got both, leaving Canada as a place to locate production to jump over the EU's tariff wall.

    He bungled our covid response.

    IMG_1017.jpeg

He gave 85% of the tax cut to people making $400,000 a year even though he said wouldn't.

Unemployment? Obama already had it trending down.

    upload_2024-6-18_7-8-41.jpeg
Blaming worldwide inflation on Biden is like blaming Trump for covid unemployment. BS. We don't have an "open border" but we do have way too many illegals. Trump was better, but not good enough. He never went after employers.
The public will turn on you for inflicting that guy on the country if he does real damage to our relationship with the EU, the largest market in the world, caves into Russian aggression, further attacks women's rights, and generally supports ignorant social policies so cherished by his extreme right pals.

A vote for Trump shouldn't be cast lightly. He's a huge risk to the country. He tried to steal the 2020 election and you're set to reward him in 2024. Nothing good is likely to come from electing a demagogue.

And who is a FELON. with more court cases pending........with possible jail time. Someone with no ethical or moral standards and could care less about anything except securing POWER.

    THAT is their beloved choice.

Actually, it seems he carves out the kind of stong man image that the MAGA group wants in power. But they confuse that wit a pitiful bully.

An amphetamine would have little to no effect on cognition and may actually lead to increased hostility and aggression

Again if and it is a big IF they worked why are they not routinely used for other dementia patients?

In researching my answer I came across a fair bit of research suggesting certain drugs of the kind trump is rumoured to be addicted to, such as Adderall can cause dementia

We see what you all are doing! The lefties are doing to direct attention away from Biden's real cognitive issues. Now I understand Biden is asking for a chair to sit down in during the debates.

We all saw the anger and aggression in Biden during the State Of The Union speech. Thanks for adding more proof Biden was on speed.

OMG -- what propaganda. But if you think the man who has allowed 10 million illegals into our country, of which thousands are terrorists, and allowed tons of fentanyl into our country, then go ahead and vote for Biden. If you want to vote for the man who is responsible for sky high inflation, then go ahead and vote for Biden.
Think about this -- when Biden was a senator he was middle-of-the-road. Now that he is president, and well into mental decline, he has no idea what he is doing because he is being lead by a liberal leftist trio. That trio is Dr. Jill, Obama, and Pelosi -- full blown socialist. Biden just reads what they give to him and signs what they put in front of him. And the liberal media is going along. Biden was not like that as a senator when he was mentally well. It's a sad day for our country and another Biden term will bring much harm to the USA. This will all come to light one day.

    No, he is not.

What you "hear" is a point-blank lie.

Both sides immediately agreed to stand during the 90 minute debate.

Just amazing how so many on the right lie about unnecessary nonsense.

Amphetamine is given worldwide to speed up the messages between your brain and your body. It's used to treat those who are lacking in focus. No clue either way if he is on them, but it would make sense.

Performance enhancing drugs all have consequences. Amphetamines are good for what they are used for, but have a ton of side effects....ie just look at meth users.

Unlike with Trump, no one has ever claimed to see Biden using uppers like this. And there is no evidence he's done so.

And you have exactly ZERO evidence for ANY of those claims.

Here is what we DO know. Trump was given a cognitive test. He bragged about it.
People are NOT routinely given cognitive tests (and, in fact, the right is howling that Biden should have to take one). The fact that Trump took one (and, again, has ADMITTED to taking one) means that, most likely, someone close to Trump was concerned that he was showing signs of cognitive decline and he was administered the test.

As far as I know, Trump passed. But the fact that someone in his inner circle thought he needed one should be concerning in itself.

Having sold an Alzheimer med for many years, I know a fair amount about dementia and its various stages. I apologize in advance for the length, but the subject you have broached here is fairly complex and takes some verbiage to explain...

I can say that your linked information is woefully incomplete in order to draw such a conclusion because it says not one thing about the inclusion criteria for the studies when declaring that amphetamines have little effect on cognition for dementia patients.

This is the same concept with the old school Alzheimer's meds (acetylcholinesterase inhibitors). Those drugs work very well in the early stages of dementia. They increase the amount of acetylcholine in the brain which does in fact improve cognition. The reason that these drugs work in mild dementia is because in the mild stage there is a deficit of acetylcholine, and adding more at least partially fixes that deficit. As Alzheimers advances, beta amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles take root and all of a sudden adding acetylcholine has no effect because the brain itself is not working as opposed to the earlier stages where the only noticeable deficit is due to acetylcholine. Once you have reached that point that class of medicine has no effect whatsoever.

Stimulants are well known to improve cognition and concentration especially Provigil. This particular drug is often called the genius pill.
College students take it with regularity during finals for this very reason.
Nootropics: Can a Pill Make You Smarter? (verywellmind.com)

Would this class of drugs be likely to temporarily improve cognition for a moderate to advanced dementia patient? Logically no. Just like the Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors I mentioned above, once the brain has stopped working due to neurofibrillary tangles and beta-amyloid plaques, nothing would be expected to work unless it is able to address that issue. Stimulants certainly do not address that issue. In other words, to claim that stimulants have no impact on cognition for dementia patients means absolutely nothing in the event that the patient cohort in question is moderate to advanced dementia patients. Since your link does not specify this, it does not tell us what we need to know. On top of that, I happen to know that essentially all Dementia studies are on at least a mostly moderate to severe patient cohort, because the reality is that very few if any people get diagnosed with dementia until it reaches the moderate phase. On top of that, doctors don't like to throw around the dementia label until they have to, so when they do encounter someone in the mild state, they tend to call it mild cognitive impairment. Mild cognitive impairment is not what your linked studies were measuring.

When you talk about Biden specifically, if he does have dementia, it would clearly be in a mild state. Since a person in a mild state of dementia, (usually called mild cognitive impairment) still has a functioning brain, it would be fully expected that they would get a similar cognitive boost as a healthy patient cohort.

When speaking of Biden specifically, if he does have dementia, it would clearly be in the mild stages, there is no doubt about that. When someone is in the mild cognitive impairment state which is a time when ones brain is still working, it would be expected that this working brain would respond similarly to everyone else and stimulants would in fact improve cognition. The notion that Biden would take these prior to a big debate or speech would be wholly logical. It would truly be shocking if he did not. For that matter, lots of political candidates, just like college students during finals, would be likely candidates to utilize the benefits of stimulants.

In the event that Biden doesn't have dementia and his decline is just regular run of the mill senile type aging, he would also get benefit from stimulants. Watching his body language during the SOTU, it is wholly logical to assume he was using stimulants. This is not some far fetched conspiracy theory, and I am not even saying that doing so is wrong. He may as well use any advantage that he can find.

For you to argue so vociferously and positively against the possibility of him using them and driving benefit is bereft of the reality of the situation.

Lastly, when you say stimulant use might lead to increased hostility and aggression that is 100% correct. In fact, that would be precisely how one could describe Yelling Biden at the SOTU.
