Having trading partners is not dependent on killing our children in useless, unnecessary wars.

We can support our closest, longstanding allies with training and weapons sales, but they should be responsible for their own defense instead of expecting American kids to do it for them.

In my opinion, the greatest threats to our well-being are two things: out-of-control immigration and the federal budget deficits. Do you realize that we are paying an amount of interest on our annual borrowing that equals the entire defense budget? And meanwhile, the middle class is being hollowed out, young people cannot afford to buy a house, and Social Security is going bankrupt. Our financial house is a mess, and we need to fix it. If you want us to be strong in the world, then we must fix ourselves first.

And yes ... If these dirtbags that infest DC want to send our kids to war, they should go too.

Nonsense. The liberal talking point from now to the election is to shout that Trump is Hitler, Trump is a convicted felon, Trump is calling for violence, Trump grabs women's crotches, Trump ............ Trump .................. Trump.

And it rings hollow, because in a normal race at this stage the parties are telling us about their man(woman) and their virtues and their plans and how they are ready to get started making America better.

Instead, the liberals are popping groin muscles twisting Trump's every word to make him the demon. They're attacking Trump at every turn, getting more and more insane with every post and every letter to the editor. Hardly a word about Harris. Nothing about brandon (except damage control and getting the old boy locked in the basement).

    Why is that?

Because Harris is a bigger mistake than brandon, and they know it.

Trump's words were clear as day, the imagery is pure violence.

There is no way to sugar coat it, sorry.

What he said is inappropriate for someone seeking the presidency, it's evidence of his incompetence. He's reckless and stupid.

The sad truth is that y'all on the right cannot see it.

So, then tell us, what is it about Harris that makes her the best liberal candidate for president?

your bias is such that we all know that you are going to pretend what Trump said is many times more extreme than what he really said. Trump said stuff that I heard all the time during

    1) Nam
    2) Grenada
    3) Desert Storm
    etc etc etc

the anti war types always made comments like this

    Uh oh.
When your own best boy, Maher, smirks at the headlines about Cheney and Trump's call for violence, even deranged liberals must see that they overstepped.

Now the normal liberal reaction would be to attack Maher, but if they reflect on that course for a moment they'll realize that attacking Maher will reinforce the understanding that opposing anything liberal is grounds for immediate retaliation, and it will take bandwidth away from attacking all things trump.

The only positive is that it will take bandwidth away from talking about Harris or brandon.

Right! We DON'T want some MAGA to AGAIN take Trump's words literally. And Trump should KNOW that he has many followers who would do that. Our only hope is that none of THOSE has the opportunity to carry them out.

In fact, ALL politicians understand that there are nuts who could take what they say literally on both sides. So they try not to make insinuations like that (and sometimes slip). Just that, in the case of Trump, history tells us that MORE of his followers DO. But HE keeps doing it over and over.... So your choices are: 1- either he does it on purpose, OR 2- he really IS too stupid to know better. Either one of the two disqualifies him as somebody who should be President.

    Your choice!

TRaitor tRump didn't insinuate ****. He SAID, "I'd like to see her standing there with 9 barrels pointed at her face".

IF you believe in Coopers four principals of gun safety; one of which is, "never point a firearm at something you don't want to destroy". TRaitor tRumps threat can only mean one thing.

When you people say something like "Well, lets have your kid in a school shooting and see how you feel", are you threatening to shoot up my kid's school?

    Same / same.

I'm a big fan of Bill Maher. His interpretation of Trump's surreal, fever-dream about executing his enemy from within, RINO Liz Cheney is missing something. It is true that deranged liberals often DO OVERSTEP. However, Trump is NOT suggesting that Liz Cheney should go into battle with a rifle to face 9 barrels trained on her face. Maher correctly interprets the war-hawk nature of the Cheneys, but he missed the important fact in Trump's dream he also wants Cheney to be shot in the face by a firing squad. The two are not related. That is what happens in dreams, unrelated things get strung together. You seemed to miss that fact.

Imagery, violent imagery. Read the quote again, and perhaps, just maybe, some day in the future, the date of which I cannot predict, but if you look at the words long enough, or listen to him saying it, you'll have an epiphany of that violent imagery, and maybe someday you'll realize that such language is inappropriate for any candidate for the presidency, because Americans should expect better for their president.

And spare me Trump's hypocrisy, he's ordered military ops in which servicemen died, while he got 5 deferments, one of which was clearly fake, a quid pro quo for a doctor who gave him the fake bone spurs referral.

yes, he's not actually suggesting, but there are deranged crazies out there, and such language is inappropriate for someone who ahs 75,000,000 devoted followers, of whom a very small percentage are given to violence, take his insinuations literally, as we witnessed on 1/6. You are agreeing on that point, right?

Well, unlike Trump, you and I do not have 75,000,000 followers of whom a tiny percentage are given to violence on mere words, as we saw on 1/6.

And for someone in Trump's position, it's inappropriate. He's reckless, irresponsible, and stupid.

    Again, nonsense.
Remember Elizabeth Warren and her "find them in the streets" speech? Was she being careful not to insinuate then?
What about Brandon, who wants to take trump out to the woodshed, or most recently, smack his ass?
And the democratic talking point of comparing Trump to Hitler?
    Just slips?
    Nonsense.

Lets cut to the chase; with all the rhetoric, all the media coverage, lets remember which candidate has been the target of assassination attempts. Two of them. And yes, we know, in each case Trump called them down on himself/it was all a show/it never happened.

Your desperation is really getting to be annoying.
    Calm down.

Again, you miss the important point that dreams are composed of unrelated things. Cheney going into combat with a rifle is one thing, and Trump's desire for his "enemy from within," RINO, Liz Cheney, getting shot in the face by 9 barrels, is something else, an EXECUTION. Two different things in one fever-dream.

No, neither I or your boy Maher missed the "fact".
But keep spinning every trump word.
    We need the humor.

Or you can tell us, why Harris is the best candidate the democrats can offer for president?

Yeah, well here are the 'flaws' you ignore, and they are all yours, your failure to grasp the following:

No, Trump didn’t start the war in Afghanistan, but he sure spent four years bragging about wanting to end it. And yet, with every chance to actually make good on that promise, he didn’t. Instead, he handed Biden a mess wrapped in political dynamite. Trump left just 2,500 U.S. troops in place -- a skeleton crew -- while making a reckless deal with the Taliban that ignored the Afghan government entirely.

Civilians? The military? Left utterly exposed. When Biden took office, he was cornered: either he had to surge our forces back in to shore up a situation that Trump left teetering on the edge, or pull out entirely and brace for the fallout. But here’s the kicker: Trump could’ve done the hard work himself. He could’ve finished the withdrawal. Hell, he paid lip service to doing it for four years. But he chose not to. Instead, he handed Biden a time bomb, knowing full well that he and his Republican allies could then stand back, feign outrage, and milk the aftermath for political points. It wasn’t about ending a war. It was about setting up a scapegoat

On top of this, Trump ordered a military op, and approved of others, that resulted in 5 deaths of servicemen his first year in office, the 'Yemen Raid' occured during his first week in office. So, spare me Trump's hypocrisy.

ANY ADULT is a better candidate than the narcissistic, psychopathic, self-serving man, descending rapidly into dementia, running from the law, that Trump is. We are not voting FOR Harris. We are voting AGAINST a psychopath.

What do you care, Trump called dems 'scum' 'thugs' 'radical extremists' 'communists' 'the enemy within' and 'the press is the enemy' (very dictator-esque) for years now, over and over and over again, and you are upset over one misunderstood fleeting comment made once by Biden?

    Your priorities are bass ackwards.
