There was no false data. There were estimates of valuation from both Trump and DB. Adjustments were made, an interest rate was set, the loan was granted and paid off on time with interest. No fraud.

 

The properties used as collateral were real. They were not Potemkin properties.

So which is it. Under or over valued. Who made the judgment of this? DB reviewed and adjusted and lent and was paid back on time with interest.

 

He has a perfect right to do that. His mistake was that he did not implement forensic audits.

There was no fraud in the Trump case until the New York Justice system manufactured it. The same thing could happen to anyone or business applying for a loan and using an estimated value of property for collateral.
