No one thinks Joe Biden is great. Even Obama who took Joe Biden as VP thinks Joe Biden is great. Joe Biden ran for POTUS 3 times and couldn’t even come 3rd or 4th place. Democrat and Independent don’t think Joe Biden is good politician. Democrats rejected Biden 3 times in the past.

Then came Trump. Compare to Trump anyone look better , even 3 time looser Biden look great leader. Biden look so great that Biden sitting in basement won an election by 7 million votes. Biden won Senate in midterm, a record never happened in 70 years. All because Trump is so bad.

Biden is child sniffing, woman touching, taking shower with daughter, don’t know where he is, yet majority American would rather have him as POTUS then any clown from GOP side.

That may be changing. 58% of all Americans don’t want Biden to run again. 56% don’t want Trump to run again either. Questions 20 and 21

The two major parties are about to give us a rematch made in Hades as far as most Americans are concerned.

I don’t want Biden to run either, but if the choice is Biden vs Trump or anyone from GOP , I will vote for Biden.

Now some Americans might move to vote for GOP because of inflation, but at the end of the day only 4 cities and their suburb will decide WH in 2024- Madison, Milwaukee, Detroit and Philadelphia. Swing voter , woman voter no matter how badly Biden is doing , these voter will not vote for “6 weeks ban abortion” DeSantis or Trump .

If you look at these cities you will see they are running away from GOP. In March WI Supreme court election , liberal judge won by 200k votes. MI is complete blue state now, so is PA. it doesn’t matter about Biden age or Biden policy, Independent swing female voters are not coming back to GOP side as long as GOP has extreme anti-abortion policy. The “Anti-Woke” war DeSantis is waging, that will go very well in GOP primary but that scares women in Brookfield, WI ( suburb of Milwaukee) or Madison.

First off, I’d say 5 states will decide the election. Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona. Which lines up pretty much with your cities. Second, I believe abortion is already baked into the equation. That over the last 50 years, those avid pro-choice folks who voted abortion have already become democrats, those avid pro-life who vote abortion have already become Republicans.

Third, 2020 was a referendum on Trump and his four years of being president, 2024 will be a referendum on Biden and his 4 years as president. Different situations and circumstances. I think 2024 will be more like 2016 than 2020. By that I mean in 2016 was an election between two disliked and unwanted candidates, voter turnout 54%. Percentage of voter turnout for independents, 23% with Republicans and Democrats making up the rest. Trump won the independent vote 46-42 over Clinton with 12% voting third party against both major party candidates.

2020, Biden was liked by independents, Trump not. A lot of independents, swing voters who stayed home in 2016 went to the polls to vote against Trump. Voter turnout 62%, percentage of voter turnout who were independents,28%. Independents voted for Biden 54-41 over Trump. 2024 will be another election where both major party candidates are unwanted, disliked more akin to 2016 than 2020. Already 29% of independents have stated if there is a rematch, Biden vs. Trump, they’d vote third party or stay home. In 2020, this percentage was a low 12% as swing voters favored Biden much more than Trump. In 2016, this percentage of independents who said they’d either vote third party or stay home and not vote, 26%. Biden vs. Trump 2024 has more of a feeling of 2016 than 2020. I predict a lot of independents will stay home or vote third party more in line with 2016 than 2020. Voter turnout will be lower, closer to the 54% who voted in 2016 than the 62% who voted in 2020. Most of those stay at home and don’t vote or vote third party will be voters who voted for Biden in 2020 who don’t want him to run again. I don’t think Trump will increase his share, but I don’t think he has to. The drop off in voter turnout, especially among independents will even things out once again. This is to be expected when swing voters don’t like either major party candidate and don’t want neither to become the next president. By the way, Trump and Biden are basically tied in the head to head matchup today. Which I think shows the dislike of both candidates due to the possible drop off than folks actually supporting Trump. His support remains static. Biden’s is dropping.

Federal prosecutors have an audio recording of Trump acknowledging he held onto a classified Pentagon document after leaving office.

The DOJ is closing in on Trump, and his lawyers wanted to know more about what the DOJ had on him.

CNN reports, "Lawyers for former President Donald Trump met with Justice Department officials on Monday following a public request for a meeting about what they characterize as prosecutorial misconduct, according to sources familiar with the matter.

"The meeting, which lasted an estimated 90 minutes, comes as the special counsel’s investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents and possible obstruction appears to be nearing its final stages. Trump’s attorneys did not comment to reporters after leaving.

"The meeting was led by the Justice Department’s top career official, who works under Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco. Neither Monaco nor Attorney General Merrick Garland attended.

"Special counsel Jack Smith, who is handling the DOJ’s documents and obstruction probe into the former president, met with Trump’s lawyers at the Justice Department on Monday, a source familiar with the matter told CNN. Smith was appointed by Garland last year and is operating independently.

"A grand jury is expected to hear testimony this week from another witness in the classified documents probe at a federal courthouse in southern Florida, which is where the search warrant for Mar-a-Lago was approved, according to one source.

"In requesting the meeting last month, Trump attorneys John Rowley and James Trusty wrote in a letter to Garland posted on Trump’s social media platform that “no President of the United States has ever, in the history of our country, been baselessly investigated in such an outrageous and unlawful fashion.”

That is an interesting statement. No President of the United States has ever, in the history of our country, stolen hundreds of pages of classified documents after leaving office. Are Trump's lawyers arguing that Trump did not bring classified documents with him when he left office?

Trump has admitted to bringing the classified documents with him to Mar-a-Lago. He has said they are his. To a large television audience recently, Trump said he had a perfect right to do so.

"I can do what I want," Trump told the millions of viewers.

It's tough being a lawyer for Trump. Trump has this nasty habit of opening his big mouth and admitting guilt.

KTVZ reports, "An employee at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence drained the resort’s swimming pool last October and ended up flooding a room where computer servers containing surveillance video logs were kept, sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Note: Also in October, DOJ prosecutors told Trump's lawyers to preserve all video tapes.

"While it’s unclear if the room was intentionally flooded or if it happened by mistake, the incident occurred amid a series of events that federal prosecutors found suspicious.

"The maintenance man who drained the pool has been asked by prosecutors about the flooded server room as part of the federal investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents, according to one of the sources.

"The incident, which has not been previously reported, came roughly two months after the FBI retrieved hundreds of classified documents from the Florida residence and as prosecutors obtained surveillance footage to track how White House records were moved around the resort. Prosecutors have been examining any effort to obstruct the Justice Department’s investigation after Trump received a subpoena in May 2022 for classified documents."

The DOJ is keeping all evidence of wrongdoing very close to the vest.

First let me start with this – I don’t believe polls. Since 2004 every polls has become notoriously inaccurate, this is mainly because with smartphone people don’t answer calls. In 2020 polls said Biden will win WI by 10% point, the result was Biden won WI by 20k vote.

I disagree with you about abortion. Many pro-choice people have been voting GOP because they never thought Roe vs Wade will be overturn. But now that many state completely banned abortion, many these women became single issue voter. Today women in America have less right than woman 50 years ago.

I agree the “Trump fatigue” Americans had in 2020 is not there as a result polls show higher dislike for Biden. But wait till Trump is campaigning full time and media is covering him 24/7. The guy can’t help but nasty. Once Americans remember the vulgarity Trump’s bring, they will remember the summer of 2020.

I agree – WI, Mi, PA, GA and AZ will decide WH. However you can win 270 without GA, AZ if you get PA, WI, MI. but you can’t get 270 without getting PA or (MI+WI) and GA and AZ.

Finally , at the end it will come down to voter turnout. If independent stay home, if younger voter stay home, then GOP can win. It’s true in any election. You and I know Trump is not disciplined that means from now until Sep 2024 he will say something, do something that will remind Americans how existed they were during Trump that will bring out tramp hatting voter. If someone else is GOP nominee, Dems don’t have to do anything, Trump will take care GOP nominee.

One notion that I believe is incorrect is 2024 will be a referendum on Biden. If Trump is the nominee it will be a referendum on Trump. If anyone else is the GOP nominee they won’t run against Biden but rather Harris. The Biden’s gonna die campaign will only have legs if the nominee gets through the GOP primary as anything other than reprehensible. The odds of that occurring are long. Woman and our “youth”will determine the outcome in 2024. It definitely won’t be like 2016 because the environment is decidedly different.

I agree on the different environments. 2024 is different than 2016 and different than 2020. The reason I compared 2024 to 2016 is 2016 was the last election when both major party candidates were disliked and unwanted by most Americans. That is what 2024 has in common with 2016. Also, it seems today that 2024 will have a lot lower voter turnout percentage wise than 2020. 54% turned out in 2016 vs. 62% for 2020.When you disliked both major party candidates, the incentive to go vote isn’t as high as when you want one to win badly or the other to lose.

Yes, age will be an issue in 2024. The democrats better hope Biden doesn’t look old and feeble. Survivability of Biden will be big. Harris is liked less than either Trump or Biden, so a campaign against Harris in this sense will probably ensue. Here’s the favorable/unfavorable of our political leaders to include Biden, Trump, DeSantis, Harris and more.

You’re probably right, there will always be a Trump factor. He’s a very easy man to dislike. It’s a question of disliking or being very dissatisfied with the job Biden is doing vs. disliking Trump as a person with his obnoxious, uncouth, rude persona along with his childish antics like name calling and throwing of temper tantrums. Not to forget his 3rd grade schoolyard bullying tactics.

The main thing is I think 2024 will be more like 2016 than 2020. Biden is president, not Trump. I believe a Trump vs. Biden rematch with both major party candidates being disliked will result in a low voter turnout, more akin to 2016 than 2020 and a higher third-party vote as more vote against both major party candidates than in 2020. We’ll see, lots of time left. What stacks up today may not apply tomorrow or next week or next year.

We should take the Senate and hold the House if we take the presidency, and it's very important that we do so.

In 2025 'provisions of the Affordable Care Act and most provisions of Donald Trump’s tax cuts are both set to expire, the debt ceiling will unfreeze, and the spending caps instituted under the Fiscal Responsibility Act will expire.'
