Trumps 2020 executive order seems reasonable. If you have a nice cushy government job, even after a change in Presidents you automatically kept that job, Trump changed that.

Nah it's not based on paranoia as you seem to think. Disdain for the deep state has been fueled by actual events. For example, if one serves 10 years, and multiple combat deployments, and returns home to find out that gathering and paying respects to their dead grandmother has been banned by a bunch of bureaucrats, that's the kind of thing that fuels anger. Freedom? Come on, the ability to honor your dead is typically one of the last things taken, even by people that capture POWs or enslave other peoples. These bureaucrats did it on a whim...

 

In other words he is going to root out the disloyal and replace them with the loyal. As an independent I am not impressed by the swamp being drained of liberal swamp creatures to then be refilled with MAGA swamp creatures.

 

The government will fight him ferociously but he will try. Hopefully he makes some progress. We need a lot of reform.
