Again I'll say, figures don't lie but liars figure. You try and base human value on IQ tests and it doesn't fly. Everyones vote counts the same no matter what tests you self appointed intellectuals worship.

So you have ZERO links to proof that the data in the studies is incorrect? Just conspiracy theories that you cannot back up. Noted.

No one said anything about human value or whether stupid people's votes should count or not. All humans are equal (to me) and all votes should count the same (to me).

This is about the fact that most Trump voters never went to college and the fact that the IQ of the average person who went to college is FAR higher than most people who did not.

Yes it is ...fresh air. Never had I said all theists are ones we should aspire to, however there is much we can agree upon yet we have nothing in common with atheists as far as a moral anchor. We know where Muslims stand. We have no idea what atheist are going to drum up in their head of thought. Could be most anything. The secular humanist government of Germany has legalized necrophilia for crying out loud. You may not be ready for that....but someone is. It's all relative to those in power.

I could spend a little time, and I'm sure I could find links that would be displeasing to you. In fact, I have seen them. You have already discredited my intelligence so what purpose would it serve? You can Google search most any results for anything you'd like. I'm not playing that game. People with life experience and a degree of common sense can agree with me.....that is unless they are so heavily indoctrinated they are unswayable. That is where the battle of the minds and souls comes in. Personally I never went to college. I have close friends that did. They are amazed at the amount of reading I do. One of the told me he knows for a fact, I read in one year far more than he did in 5 years of college. Need some books?

It's very coy to attack the beliefs of others while maintaining you have none of your own. That is why it is so threatening that "secular humanism' describes to a tee your non-belief.

Theist have much in common with Atheist, in fact Christians only disbelieve in one less God then then Atheists do

I have no idea where theists stand, depends which God and which religion they believe in... Theist doesn't go into that detail, not does Atheist, all it says is if they believe in a God or not

Huh? I’m not attacking your beliefs. I challenge people to prove their assertions. I have no problem with you believing in an invisible sky fairy. But when you assert it exists you will be called on it.

Secular humanism has nothing to do with me.

I do not recall discrediting your intelligence per se. I don't know you...I cannot know if you are intelligent or not from a few posts on a chat forum.
And I am not saying all Trump voters are unintelligent...just that - according to the data - most probably are (since most never went to college and the average college student is significantly more intelligent than the average non-college student).

And you are the one that called the studies false. It is not up to me to prove your assertions are wrong. It is up to you to prove they have merit. You made the accusation...you back them up.

So far, you have provided NOTHING but conspiracy theories and things your friends supposedly said about your reading ability (?!?). While I have posted numerous links to data from well-respected people/organizations.

So what kind of intelligence does IQ indicate? Common sense? Wisdom? Discernment? Motor skills? Leadership? Social skills? What is important to you?

    Christmas is for children.

I don't send gifts to anyone over 18 on Christmas (or for their birthday's). Haven't for many years.

Makes Christmas a WHOLE lot easier for me as well. I am not falling for the forced Christmas buying crap.

I generally like the season though because people seem to generally be nicer to each other...that is always cool.

As for the God part of it...whatever (and I am a WASP, btw).

lol this happens every year around this time....

Kinda on topic, kinda not ....

My favorite real life person, turned into a "Superhero" is good old Saint Nicholas himself. Which was changed to Saintnerclaus and then to Santa Claus with just a bit of Dutch, Spanish and English thrown together!

Anyways, this guy who was supposedly the nicest guy ever, gave away his entire fortune and saved women from being forced to become prostitutes (that is how we get stockings by the chimney as a tradition) and was known as like "The Ultimate Christian" back in the day.

Well here comes Chris Hemsworth/Saint Nicholas into the Council of Nicea and what does he do? He cements the legend that today we have turned into a full blown, sleigh flying, reindeer taming, time controlling super hero!

At the council "they" (the hundreds of different kinds of Christians at the time) were arguing over which Christianity would be "best". I personally after studying Constantine think he was one of the original inventors of Populism, but I digress....

So good old Saint Nicholas got so angry at Arius, who claimed that "The trinity doesn't make sense and that Jesus was either a mortal, or God's son, but couldn't be both." Well at this point, Saint Nicholas put on his red hat and became THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR KNOWN AS SANTA CLAUS!!!!!!

He walked straight across the hall filled with 500 or so people and straight up PIMP SLAPPED Arius across the face, calling him a heretic. Arius was soon exiled hopefully to never be heard from again! But wait THERE'S MORE!!!!

Christianity was following what Jesus taught them really well at this point and some Bishop literally prayed for his death, then he died basically that day. A lot of Christians see it as miraculous....

Anyways, the story of Santa Claus IMO proves once and for all, that violence does in fact solve problems

I am close to this as well.

I LOVE Christmas, for the kids, I love watching my niece and nephew open their presents and the smiles on their faces. To me Christmas is an opportunity to show the love and caring for one another that the man Jesus, originally preached.

'An intelligence quotient (IQ) is a total score derived from several standardized tests designed to assess human intelligence.'

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligence_quotient

    And intelligence means:

    'intelligence

    noun
    1.
capacity for learning, reasoning, understanding, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relationships, facts, meanings, etc.'

    http://www.dictionary.com/browse/intelligence

That is what I take from it.

You can look at Judeo -Christian values and precepts, you can even lump those in with Catholics, Mormons, And Jehovah Witnesses. As far as the Nations Founders were concerned, you would find them all very close in how our Constitutional liberties were derived. Though we differ in our beliefs about the true nature and purpose of God....we are very close in understanding His character and how we are to live together. If you want to know where I stand on any issue, ask me. I will tell you and substantiate why I feel that way. That is, unless it is a question I don't understand myself. In that case,I'll tell you I need some time.

When you and others attack something I have great reverence for....you attack my belief. When you say my Lord and Savior is a "sky fairy" you assert you are right and I am wrong. Don't be coy here...that is an attack. Tell a member of radical Islam that Mohammed is a pedophile and necrophiliac... see where that gets you.

Everyone that has tried my 'no gifts to anyone over 18' thingy seems to LOVE it (not that I am saying I started it).

Most gifts for grownups are usually something they did not really want anyway. With children, they make it VERY CLEAR what they want. So getting them what they want is easy.

And yes, there is nothing like making a child happy...it's joyous.

Totally agree, my sister and I stopped doing birthdays too. She is 38 and I am 35 and if we want something, we go buy it.

A lot of times, people think that buying presents = love, this is something my mom adheres to and I absolutely hate it. Very hard to relate to for me

If I told you I have data from "Liberty University"....of course you would say that isnot a well-respected organization. It's useless. I know you respect Columbia University. They have "safeplaces" for people that don't want to hear what I have to say. Berkely bans us all together.

    LOL...I hear you.

Actually, my brother and I started it (for me, anyway). One day, when we were about 20 I think, one of us said (probably him) 'instead of buying each other gifts. Why don't we just decide what we were going to spend on each other and just spend that amount on ourselves instead.'
It was great...it was like permission to buy myself what I want...and I ended up spending no more then I would have anyway.

And it just eventually 'mutated' into my 'no gifts for adults' idea.

Well, I cannot know until I see the link.

Gotta warn you though. I have LOTS of links to various sources of data that back up the data. Plus, I think it is generally considered common sense. The more educated you are, the more intelligent you are libel to be (with DEFINITE exceptions).
I have yet to meet a stupid person with a PhD. Somewhat crazy? Sure...sometimes. But stupid? Nope.

As I said, I have no problem with you believing in whatever imaginary nonsense you wish. If you claim it actually exists, you will be called on it and you hear the burden of proof.
