So, instead of investigating the circumstances of Trump's impending arrest, Republicans are going after the prosecutor.

This morning Trump's lawyers blamed the media for Trump's ambiguous claim.

Yes... the word insurrection is in the wording of the 14th amendment section 3 .... they are trying to plug the word into the idea Trump can't run for office... it was literally one of the words puked up after Jan 6.. These people are obsessed....

This is a political stunt by trump, nothing more, nothing less.

No one really knows if he will get arrested. But to get arrested, an indictment and formal charges have to come into play. No grand jury has indicted him, and the DA in NY State can indict him without a grand jury, but generally, a Grand Jury will have to first in most cases. I think there is a grand jury in play right now on this very topic, but no decision yet by the grand jury.

 

Trump needs to demand they arrest him... put up or shut up... walk right into the DA office and offer himself up...
