I think Trump is poison for Republicans, Democrats and America in general. Certainly out of a nation of 350 million people, we can do better than him.

 

The only political rally I ever attended was in the summer of 1960 in McKeesport Pa. to see Irish Catholic candidate Jack Kennedy. Although my father was a decorated WW II veteran and a solid “I like IKE” Republican, he took me downtown to see the Senator. My old man liked what he heard and supported Kennedy that year. Frank Sinatra was there and sang his hit song, High Hopes......Everybody’s got to back Jack...Jack is on the right track...cause he’s got High Hopes, he’s got high hopes, he’s got high apple pie in the sky hopes....I was only 6 but I thought it was pretty cool..I wouldn’t go around the block to see a horses ass like Trump bloviate. No class, no intelligence, no wit, no wisdom...Just a bunch of hot air...Jack had class and I remember being proud to have him as our leader...Trump on the other hand was a total embarrassment to our country...I remember when Kennedy went to Ireland and the reception he got...I remember when he stood tall at the base of The Berlin Wall and gave that great speech in front of over 100,000 people. “Let them come to Berlin”....Thats what I’m talking about!!,,Both the Democrats and Republicans should try to find a guy like that...He was a rich brat but he went to war and risked his ass for his country. He was educated, well spoken, had a great self depreciating sense of humor and when he screwed up he took responsibility...He was like the total antithesis of Trump...
