With regard to climate change, do people think:

You read what I said. Can you be honest with yourself or will you persist on citing hypotheticals as facts?

I’m not citing hypotheticals as facts. I’m simply showing you peer reviewed research cited by Yale. Notice the bolded conclusions of his analysis of studies is EXACTLY what I stated. Isn’t it amazing that my posts agree with peer reviewed science while your posts conflict with peer reviewed science? All you have is hypotheticals in your unsubstantiated opinions. My posts are based on research by experts published in journals of science. Your posts are just ad hominem fallacy and unsubstantiated opinions.

Misleading on top of misleading on top of misleading.

It was actually MIT, but that’s irrelevant because it stated NO FACTS. Only hypotheticals. For the nth time - see bolded—-—->

“The basic idea is that we might be able to deliberately tweak the climate system in ways that release more heat into space”.

The Chinese will soon see the folly in pursuing the Most Expensive Energy on the Planet. They are already near bankruptcy.

A few days ago you were adamant on how intelligent and progressive the Chinese Communist Party is. And now their 100 year plan is flawed as you claim that Red China is near bankruptcy. How can you be taken seriously?

LOL. Back to lying again are you? Here’s my first University reference. Harvard. It’s from 2024.

You accused me of making up the idea so I posted an older source showing Biden approves of pursuing this technology as does Gates etc. I’m sorry if you think MIT is underselling the technology. Maybe they are. You didn’t like Harvard or MIT so I provided this from Yale.

Research from peer reviewed journals going clear back to 2021 concludes this :
Here is my initial statement you rejected.

My statement is a reflection of peer reviewed research published in journals of science. How is that dishonest in any way? I merely pointed you to SCIENCE. If MIT wants to undersell the potential that’s not my problem. I’m only interested in the actual scientific evidence that is EXACTLY what I initially posted.

If you think MIT is underselling peer reviewed research take it up with them. My statement on cooling quickly (in a year) is supported by EVIDENCE you can’t refute.

The U.S. produces about 6.3 billion metric tons of CO2 per year, so yeah.

Like every country, the US has a long way to go to meet its climate goals. Instead of focusing on solutions, anti-Climate change propagandists like to criticize other countries, with a scheme of DIVISION.

Some links would be nice to back up the claims about democrats.
I can agree, politics get in the way, but what is the proof that it is the case here?

    And? Where's you proof?

All you've given is your opinion. But no info on how you reached that opinion.

What rationale objective is in danger of the waste, core, water?

Are there NO, thoughts given to those dangers?

People are drinking fluids in plastic bottles?
There's 100's of reasons why cancer deaths have increased.

Even including, people live longer. Want to stop people from living longer?

There is no climate crisis that is why there is a lot of opposition........ and the "division" is part of political process.

LOL, this is a silly statement since no one is saying it.

    Media truth writes:

Your claim is absurd as they did a lot of work for several years to build containment walls with reactor covers and cool the reactors down with recyclable water and the slow removal of contaminants that has been going on for years.

    safety and security
    Fukushima Daiichi Accident
    Updated Monday, 29 April 2024

    Excerpt:

    • Following a major earthquake, a 15-metre tsunami disabled the power supply and cooling of three Fukushima Daiichi reactors, causing a nuclear accident beginning on 11 March 2011. All three cores largely melted in the first three days.

    • The accident was rated level 7 on the International Nuclear and Radiological Event Scale, due to high radioactive releases over days 4 to 6, eventually a total of some 940 PBq (I-131 eq).

    • All four Fukushima Daiichi reactors were written off due to damage in the accident – 2719 MWe net.

    • After two weeks, the three reactors (units 1-3) were stable with water addition and by July they were being cooled with recycled water from the new treatment plant. Official 'cold shutdown condition' was announced in mid-December.

    • Apart from cooling, the basic ongoing task was to prevent release of radioactive materials, particularly in contaminated water leaked from the three units. This task became newsworthy in August 2013.

Yeah, what’s your point? Nobody wants your radioactive trash. Is that a surprise? All those crumbling nuclear plants around the world are nothing but money pit disastrous messes. They are offline more than they’re online, and doing nothing but raising costs of electricity.

Plastics are a disaster. I couldn’t agree more. Like the nuclear industry, that’s another industry that wants to leave all their messes for others to clean up.

I’ve presented this link quite often. The real work hasn’t even begun.

What’s happening at Fukushima plant 12 years after meltdown?

Massive amounts of fatally radioactive melted nuclear fuel remain inside the reactors. Robotic probes have provided some information but the status of the melted debris is largely unknown.

That's a religious rant. No one is going to try to reason you out of a position you didn't reason yourself into.
One thing is nonetheless certain. Nuclear power will expand very significantly because, quite simply, it has to. AI power demands will overwhelm renewable generating capacity. Natural gas will meet the demand initially, but nuclear is the long term solution.
