With regard to climate change, do people think:

  1. We should obscure sunlight if possible

No you are clearly not reading the long post showing that your claim they haven't done anything is false, you can't fool people here with your refusal to be honest.

Most of the world’s foremost AI research companies are committed to Netzero principles and renewable energy. Many are investing in battery backup solutions.

Show me where I said they “haven’t done anything”. I said the equivalent of “The real work has not begun”. And that is 100% true. The highly radioactive, lethal cores have not been touched. Nuclear propagandists love to talk about Fukushima as if it’s a done deal. Sorry, but you’re being called to task. That’s BS.

It is clear you are not reading the articles provided since it is in a stable remote area and the opposition are the typical ecoloonies and stupid leftist politicians who have politicized the whole process that is why the waste storage issue goes on and on and on not getting done.

It is clear you are against nuclear power which is unsurprising as you have pseudoscience attitudes who doesn't understand the science and engineering of the industry which can be made a lot safer if there wasn't the dumb opposition that drives up the cost significantly and interferes with the management of the power production.

If politics would get out of the nuclear waste industry, then the total amount of spent rods and waste would be greatly reduced and far less radioactivity as was talked about and known in the 1970's but alas people like YOU have a irrational fear of anything nuclear that it never gets much better managed with so much fear and opposition by the small ecoloony cabal.

There is a lot of discussion about using THORIUM reactors that produce far less waste and much safer to operate, but even this better alternative gets stupidly opposed while it is taking off in several nations the problem is people like YOU thus the B.S. goes on and on....

No, you are making false claims up the article I posted shows they got it under control by December 2011 and have since then been in the process in clearing it up which takes a while.

    and,

Real work started right away as the report shows and have reached cold shutdown condition by December 2011 thus your claim is false and foolish.

The contaminated water, spent and damaged rods have been removed, the reactors isolated and the containment in the location is almost 100%

You are too lazy to read the report which takes a while as it is detailed and shows most of the issues have been dealt with by 2023 which means they are nearly finished with the entire cleanup.

Your posts are nothing but inflammatory rhetoric, ungrounded in facts.

Seems you are sold on the Nuclear Industry propaganda. There are zero advantages in terms of the requirement of a fissile material, massive heat generation that must be cooled, and waste reduction. Here’s the REAL science, if you want to learn something.

Fantasy. NetZero does not have the energy potential to even come close to AI's energy demand.

    I know about the disaster.
What I don't know about is your claim very little to nothing has been done in the cleanup of it.

    From your link.

    ...
The 130 tons of contaminated water created daily is collected, treated and then stored in tanks, which now number about 1,000 and cover much of the plant’s grounds. About 70% of the “ALPS-treated water,” named after the machines used to filter it, still contains Cesium and other radionuclides that exceed releasable limits.

A lot has been done. It is all covered at the end of the report. The plants are being decommissioned. Tepco has a website giving updates on decommissioning work and environmental monitoring.

Believe and spread all the propaganda you want. TEPCO has been dishonest about a number of matters associated with THEIR disaster.

U.S. Navy sailors sue Japan over nuclear accident

    CNN —
Eight U.S. Navy sailors who were aboard a U.S. aircraft carrier off Japan after last year’s Fukushima nuclear accident have sued the Tokyo Electric Power Company alleging a series of failures, including lying.

Fukushima report: Key points in nuclear disaster report

The Tepco Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant accident was the result of collusion between the government, the regulators and [private plant operator] Tepco, and the lack of governance by said parties. They effectively betrayed the nation's right to be safe from nuclear accidents. Therefore, we conclude that the accident was clearly "manmade"...

Please stop pouring the wrong radioactive water into the sea, Fukushima operator told

According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on February 7, 5.5 cubic metres of water containing radioactive materials leaked from a caesium absorption tower at the plant. The root cause of the leak was a valve that was left open during cleaning work at the absorption tower..

AND JUST YESTERDAY!!!!! Still a TEPCO fan?

https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202...inated wastewater into the sea, analysts said.

Latest leak accident in Fukushima 'once again exposes management chaos of TEPCO'

The recent report of 25 tons of radioactive water leaking from Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO)'s troubled Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant once again
exposes TEPCO's internal management chaos. It also highlights the unreliability and risks associated with Japan's moves to dump nuclear-contaminated wastewater into the sea, analysts said.

Approximately 25 tons of water containing radioactive materials leaked into the spent fuel cooling pool of Reactor Unit 2 in the Fukushima plant. TEPCO has stopped water injection into the pool and is investigating the cause of the leak. To ascertain the precise location of the leak and its underlying cause.

    Wow.

The Global Times (simplified Chinese: 环球时报; traditional Chinese: 環球時報; pinyin: Huánqiú Shíbào) is a daily tabloid newspaper under the auspices of the Chinese Communist Party's flagship newspaper, the People's Daily, commenting on international issues from a Chinese nationalistic perspective.[1][2][3][4] The publication is sometimes called "China's Fox News" for its propaganda and the monetization of nationalism.[5][6][7][8]

The article you referenced is devoid of quantification. Global Times is the Pravda of the Chinese Communist Party. Every gallon of sea water contains radioactive material.

That is what Media Truth is saying, I showed that a lot of effort to contain and clean up started rapidly after the waves receded.
