whe I am given a name of a scientist, I check it out. most of those named as "proof" that there is scientific opposition can be identified as being linked to non profit agencies that do receive funding from the fossil fuel lobby.

this can easily be verified.

since these agencies have been set up with a particular focus, and lobby extensively (for example, heartland has even sent material to international politicians to try to influence other nations policies) there is no doubt what their purpose is.

prevously some of these people and organisations have been associated with the tobacco industry lobby countering claims of health risks associated with smoking.

even deniers should consider that that is evidence of something not being right.
