    People in the country in SW Missouri have always lived with no electricity or water. They don't know they're poor.

    Rent is way too high in the town by where I live and there is zero rent controls.
    High real estate prices also comes from high demand.

    More then the cost of the damage people off their meds create? I doubt it.

    It wouldn't be cheap, but it would be a good investment for our nation.

    Most poor people that I am familiar with spend too much money on things they don't need. I believe bad judgement is a huge contributor to their being poor.

    True, but if someone is using my tax dollar to pay that tax then it is not really costing them.

    I would disagree. I know poor people who own multiple television sets, DVD players, IPods, Video games. I see people using EDB cards to purchase grocery items that I don't feel I can afford. Again, Most poor people that I am familiar with spend too much money on things they don't need. Your mileage may vary.

    400-500 years ago, high class societies buried their stupid and lazy after nature took its course. It's a good thing they did too. If they'd have failed to either let nature take its course, or not bury them afterwards, the odds of us making it to this point would have turned dramatically against us.

    Democrats love to tell lies about Reagan. What it is for me is like stomping on pill bugs. Each time I kill a lie about Reagan some other Democrats squawks the same tired lies.

    I will explain it to the best of my ability. I was born in a valley town called Tulare, CA in 1938. At the time despite the very deep depression, where men rode the rails hunting for odd jobs, they hung out by railroad tracks and we called them hobos. We called those haunting city streets in bad sections of towns, winos.

    Females currently on the streets of the cities of CA are whores. This is how they scrape by. Men use drugs and also are winos. For the money, cheap wine does them what they need, a stupor on the cheap. Sooner or later, they get the word Democrats feel sorry for them. In fact the cops chase them away from a decent area so they go back to downtown streets or under state freeways. A freeway bridge is awesome when it rains.

    The hit on Reagan was he booted out the mental hospitals. But he was a brand new governor who had no role in the law he had to enforce. Gov. Pat Brown a Democrat made the decision to boot out the mentally ill. So it is a lousy rap to hang on Reagan. Reagan was not hard on the poor. But Democrats enjoy lying about Reagan.

    It's not my job to educate you but I will give you a clue. At your finger tips is a whole world of information that would be similar to a set of encyclopedias. It's your computer search engine. Mine is Google. When I'm curious about something I will Google my question. Say 'Ronald Reagan and the Homeless'. You do have to be careful in-that you will find conflicting reports and you have to decide which one seems more legitimate. But, with time you will begin to learn which source is more reliable. Good luck.
