    Why?

If your position is that a ZEF is a person with rights, why does thatvall ofva sudden change if the woman's life is in danger? Why not, I don't know, kill the woman and save the fetus?

Of course, this little contradiction of yours perfectely illustrates that ZEFs do not have rights -- The rights of two persons can never be in conflic with each other.

No because rights begin at birth. The born have rights, thus killing them is murder.

I have explained it to youma gazillion times and am not going to waste more time on explaining it to you since you have proven to be unable to understand it and unable to argue against it time and time again.

I will give you two words; volitional consciousness. That is the answer.

Imam not afraid to bring morals into the equation because abortion is indeed a moral right.

But I thought that we need to allow a woman live her life the way she desires.

Okay, volitional consciousness. So let's pick up from where we left off regarding this stupid concept, all the way back to March 2021!
Then no reply from you. You've had over two years to think about it. So do you have an answer?

Of course I do. Unlike you, I don't just accept something because they are permissible by law.

Yes, but that right does not apply to women only, but to all born human beings.

    No.

    I would select...

Other: Another person's decision to get an abortion is none of my business.

    POST 4350:

FoxHastings""Please show the law that says a human cell or a zygote is a legal person with rights and how that works without interfering in the rights of the woman it's in? ""

chris155au : ""No such law, just as there is no law which defines a legal person as a born person.""

OK, then you have no problem with abortion....since you think there is no law saying a ZEF is a legal person :)

Doesn't that mean she should be free to have an abortion? Yes, it does...:)

Another person's decision to commit murder is also none of your business.

No, but them committing murder is.

Abortion isn't murder. If you think it's killing a baby, i don't need to discuss abortion with you, i'm not going to convince you we shouldn't stop babies from being murdered.

How can a natural process ever be "forced?"

It would be like if you had an illnesses and there was a treatment available — the government said we don’t allow that treatment because of religion so you die.

The government is to blame for your death.

Government is not allowing medical treatment and is actively punishing women that seek said treatment. That is forcing birth.

Interesting that you didn't say that the government is FORCING death in this scenario.

    Which treatment?

LOL, now you are being disingenuous ..... a "natural " process can be forced by banning abortion so women are FORCED to gestate....being "natural " has nothing to do with it.

If the government bans the treatment that can save your life they are forcing you to die......it's quite a SIMPLE idea...anyone should be able to get it...

    That's a dodge...it doesn't matter what treatment it is...

    But NOT the death?

How is it irrelevant? What does "treatment" have to do with abortion?
