central WA: -no toilet paper or bulk dry goods left on shelves. still have small-box dry goods and paper towels -no more 5.56 FMJ (still have green tip, oddly enough) -post office is no longer doing over-the-counter service. Mailboxes supposedly still getting mail -schools in high-pop-density areas (like Seattle) closed for two weeks or more. Schools here still open.
Well entire isle of tissues, toilet paper and paper towel is empty library is shut, post office is still open not sure what measures they are taking to stick to the "social distancing restrictions" Trying to rein in my invincible teenager but he's off to the movies (there's restrictions on 1 person per 4sqm so we'll find out later how that went) Schools are still open Whingers are whinging in the Oz thread and hurting my ears Thought maybe could go to the beach just to breathe when the house and garden gets monotonous on the school holidays which starts next week Walking the dog still but wondering about dog to dog transmission of corona virus....?????
Louisville... ... the mayor's wife has it... ... we're under lockdown here at... ... the Presbyterian Home on Buechel Bypass.
I had to work in Seattle today. I was expecting a ghost town or maybe black trucks and biohazard suits everywhere or something. But I really couldn't tell a difference between seattle on coronavirus and regular seattle. Not until around 6pm anyway, when traffic was just kinda bad instead if its normal hellish lunacy.
Yeah, in Seattle... ... dey still scratchin' dey's butts... ... an' pickin' dey's noses... ... wonders will never cease!
I cant handle the humidity. Im clammy enough living here in high desert. I get really gross really quick in those conditions.
