Issues like "climate change" and abortion are used to manipulate people into becoming enthusiastic supporters. Those with a genuine concern don't need government. Its easy to color in a circle and wear a "Save the Planet" "Pro Life" T-shirt. Appearing sanctimonious comes with emotions, but it is only appearance and feelings.

The efforts to assign the title "convicted felon" worked against dems and will certainly work against them again as power is handed to the guy they tried to incarcerate.

He is literally a convicted felon, and we are LITERALLY asking for government to GET THE **** OUT of abortion. But keep pretending you care. You don't give a ****. You are perfectly fine with government control, as you demonstrate every time you talk about abortion.

It's the dems fault along with Ole Joe. They should have had him bow out last year.

Better than the fascist felon, and she was more economically conservative than he was. I'd be happy to talk actual policies, but Trump supporters can't go there.

Nope. Just wishing I could find a single Trump supporter willing to have an honest discussion. I feel like Diogenes with his lantern.

Logically, if the views of the "felon" somewhat align with my political views, and the other candidate's views very radically differ from my views, then yes, the "felon" gets my vote. It would be illogical to vote otherwise.

A presidential election isn't about personalities - it is about vision and the direction of the country. And, it is okay if we disagree on what the vision and direction should be - democracy, you know.

No need to put in quotes. He was convicted. He's a felon. Regardless of how much you like his policies (to the limited extent to which they exist), he's still a felon.

Where? I've been searching for that for years on this forum, and no luck. It finally happened? When?

Your point was that Trump supporters aren't willing to discuss actual issues? I should have guessed. Glad I helped you prove that, though.

I think she was unwilling to engage with right-leaning undecideds. Joe Rogan is a good example of this. He invited her on, but she refused. She drastically underestimated his popularity.

I also think she never won a primary and they had no idea of her un-popularity. She didn’t win anything. The nomination was handed to her.

Hard disagree. She was insanely popular within the party. Much more so than Biden (to my surprise). And, as Rogan himself pointed out, she was willing to appear on the show. It was just a question of the duration and location of the interview. She was willing to do a 1-hour interview remotely. He wanted a longer interview, and only in Austin.

“Within the party.” You have the base no matter what. You don’t have to win them over. She didn’t talk to the middle; especially the right-leaning middle.

The Rogan decision was a bad one. She should have asked, “is this guy popular?” It never occurred to her. That makes her out of touch.

She was willing to go on his show. As he himself admitted. It was a matter of the details. And she was never going to appeal to the right-leaning "middle." Those folks were just Trump voters playing make-believe.

I’m just telling you what I heard on two separate local news channels, reporting from poll locations. The podcast issue came up several times. She should have assessed the situation better. Rogan has a format; she should have taken the time.

It wasn't a matter of time. She was willing to go on. It was a matter of the length and location of the program. And you can't honestly tell me you think it would have made a difference. It isn't like Rogan's brohood would have been open to voting for her in any significant way, and I say that as someone who praised Rogan before this election.

I’m telling you what I heard. She should have taken the time to do it Joe’s way. (The LENGTH of time.)

She rested on the hope that the “anybody but Trump/Biden” crowd meant it. I don’t think she got a good message through. All I heard from her was about how I was going to get free stuff.

    It's Biden's fault.

Bitter Pelosi now says Biden should have dropped out earlier so Democrats could have ‘open primary’

Regrets, she has a few …

Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) continued to work her way through the stages of grief following Vice President Kamala Harris’ election loss — this time blaming President Biden for not ending his bid for a second term earlier.

“Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race,” Pelosi (D-Calif.) told the New York Times in comments published Friday.

“The anticipation was that, if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary.”

The 84-year-old went on: “And as I say, Kamala may have, I think she would have done well in that and been stronger going forward. But we don’t know that. That didn’t happen.

“We live with what happened, and because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time. If it had been much earlier, it would have been different.”

I can't wait for that dinosaur to be put out to pasture.

Hey Nancy maybe if you didn't sit there and keep pretending that he was fit for the job he might have gone away earlier

That old bag can just go away and eat some cake and some $30 a quart of ice cream
