    Like this, lol

And this. The definition of atheism disproves your claim.

but Christians also belong to the theist religion.. they are all the same right

the point is, Christianity is the religion, Theist only means they believe in a God - theism is not a religion, same as atheism is not a religion

This is what you are confusing.

what? innocent men, women and children, including babies and fetuses did what do God to deserve to be drowned so violently?

A god could of just snapped his fingers and made them disappear, but chose to do it in such an evil way... why?

But you're OK with 3,000 fetuses being violently aborted daily? There is none innocent.

Emotions are not just physical reactuons. Hormones effect how we think, feel, everything about us. In fact, it's a hormone called oxytocin that causes us to become attached to people to begin with. It's what causes you to feel "love" for people.

You can't cite a myth and then use it as part of your argument as though it were true.

what is it according to you? God's word that he did these horrible things? or are you agreeing with me that it is a myth?

I never sited it as true... it's a myth.. one some believe is God's words

it's true these things are in the biblical myth, but the story itself is still a myth

No. God didn't write the Bible. It was all written by man and most of it is wrong. a few letters cherry picked out of thousands. But you're saying God said and did these nasty things is like saying Batman did them. Or in other words your using fake documents to convict God of things which you have neither eyewitness nor circumstantial evidence that he committed these vile acts and admit that your evidence is a myth.

Correct, they do. Christians are Theists, but Theists are not necessarily Christians.

    Wrong. They are all different.

Christianity is a religion. Theism is a religion. Atheism is a religion. They all have different initial circular arguments.

Christianity believes that Jesus Christ exists and is who he says he is. Theism believes that god(s) exist. Atheism believes that god(s) do not exist. They are all religions. They are all accepted/rejected on a faith basis.

I'm not confusing anything. You are.

oh, I think we agree then

it's like me saying if you believe in Thor's hammer, then this is true

I did not say it was true, what I said was

"well unless you believe God drowned all the living creatures on earth but a boat load, pretty evil sounding guy"

the bible is but one of the Myths about a powerful God with magic powers

your confused, your thinking theists is a religion and atheist is a religions .... it's not

yes, theists and atheists can also have religions

all the terms atheist and theist describes is if they believe in a God or not

all theist do not believe in the same religion, all atheists do not believe in the same religion

Nobody claimed there was a headcount of the humans he drowned.

There WAS an indication of the tiny number he didn't drown.

I believe in fairy goblins in my garden. Listen to me long enough with my cunning and you'll believe it also.

Except that God does exist. But He's not the one in the Bible. You're using false, unverified testimony, which you know to be false, to carry on a smear campaign. And for what purpose? What a truly meaningless little life you must lead when you have nothing better to do than disparage Christian and Jewish beliefs ---- and only Christian and Jewish beliefs. God is not a product solely of Christian and Jewish beliefs, yet the fictional God of the Bible is the only one you choose to attack. And you actually have a need to flay against windmills. If this site didn't exist you'd create it, so you'd have a place to get in someone else's business. What do you care what somebody else believes? Of what possible value would it have to anyone if I were to come in here every day and go on and on about what a bad guy Lex Luther is? You said the Bible is a myth and so everything in the Bible is a myth and you can't use mythical stories as evidence of anything. And yet here you are, everyday, preaching about what a bad guy old Lex Luther is. You preach more than an Evangelist.

wow, guess we know your argument falls flat on it's face when you have to resort to personal attacks - what brought that on?

you believe in a God, just not the bible God, ok fine, I do not either, but many do and some want to deny Americans rights based on that belief

I also do not believe a God drowned every life-from on the planet accept a boat load

    You are confused.

They ARE religions. I have already described why they are.

They don't "have" religions... They ARE religions. Other religions such as Christianity and Shinto then stem from those religions...

And belief/disbelief in a god(s) is in and of ITSELF a religion. The belief/disbelief requires faith.

Like I said... all Christians are Theists, but not all Theists are Christians.
