Then why is crime soaring, eduational achievement continues to twindal with 80% of African American children not are grade level reading, why has single motherhood SOARED since the civil rights movement, why are taxpayers still pouring billions into support African American communities.

What does treatment of someone else decades ago have to do with you or me???

    Again

Show how am I more equal than you. A right do I have that you do not. A freedom I have that you do not. Something I can I do that you cannot.

Why are there LOTS of African Americans who are a LOT more successful than me in this country? How am I more equal that my African American neighbor?

Who is we? LOTS of European and Eurasian folks. Do you know where the word slave comes from? it wasn't black africans. Although they, black africans were the folks enslaving the slavs.... This isn't what aboutism. This is simply the history. Why do you want to ignore or deny history?

Which is simply untrue. Race wasn't the only factor in being slaves in the US. There are legion of indebtedness slaves who came from all over western europe who were just as much slaves as those who came from Africa. again, why do you deny history?

Anthropologists have not used the term Negro to describe specific peoples as a race for years. What planet do you live on.

It was in the 1780's , anthropologists from the "Gottiingen school" of history dividing humans into three races called Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid not Negro, which was at first called Ethiopian.

An American anthropologist ironically with the name Carleton S. Coon in 1962 divided homo sapiens into five groups: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Australoid races, and two races among the indigenous populations of sub-Saharan Africa: the Capoid race in the south, and the Congoid race.

As medical science and in particular genetics developed such methods of physical anthropology, which rely on morphological (secondary) characteristics, (eye, nose, lip, head shape, skin colour or tone, hair texture) and not genetics were proven erroneous and subjective. In fact genetics has proven that a person who one would call a "black" and another one would call "white" could have more in common genetically than two black men or two white men. The secondary characteristics have now been proven immaterial to determining genetic types so essential to understanding inheritable diseases.

So can we be clear this practice was used by people at a time when they did not have an understanding of genetics and had financial reasons to define certain people based on a subjective assumption of their secondary characteristics to be able to rationalize capturing them as slaves or conquering them.

Genetic science in fact rendered this kind of depiction of "races" meaningless by the 1950's precisely because of Hitler's theories that reconstituted them to justify extermination of masses of specified people of specified inferior races, particularly Jews.

To this day people will use these designations because they have been brought up with limited education and/or in an environment which continues to promote such views all across the world generating massacres, genocides, civil wars. In the US people who follow this belief system are called Magas. Most of them are white but Magas attract non whites who believe if they become a maga and subscribe to such theories, they are no longer part of an inferior race. They become "good" ethnics as Trump said during his last campaign and pick out certain blacks and point to them and say "he's a good one".

    Regards,

    a bad s.o.b. Jew

My planet? Uh, Earth, where there are three distinct races of human beings -- Caucasians, Negroes, and East Asians (which are sometimes referred to as "Mongols" although this is often confusing because there is a country called "Mongolia").

Characteristic descriptors of these three races are: Caucasoid, Negroid, and East Asian (used to be "Mongoloid", but this became disused because it also described a condition known in the 1960's as "Down Syndrome").

I was fortunate to have completed my college education before all the "newspeak" revisionism began to contaminate so much of academia.... ;)

What's the problem? The word "Negro" means black in Spanish. Big deal! Even famous Negro personalities like Dr. Martin Luther King and Frederick Douglass regularly referred to their own race as Negro. The word was used routinely by the Supreme Court through 1985. And for a long time in this country, it was considered offensive to call Negro people by the word "Blacks". But people who are always complaining about everything are complaining about this too. No surprise.

Okay, one more time because this is getting repetitive. I mentioned earlier an imperfect analogy. A parent abuses its child throughout childhood. She becomes an adult and leaves home. Does that parent bare no responsibility for the damage done to its child? They both have all the same rights as adults. Does that make the parent free of any responsibilities if there are ways to heal and help relieve the damage done? You say the parent bears no responsibility and asking for help is "imaginative opportunism".

Okay, we seem to be cherry picking our facts and factoids. Crime is not "soaring", it is at a 50 year low and single motherhood has SOARED in all races since the introduction of birth control pills. Yes, math and reading attainments are crap and nothing new. So we should quit trying to bring them up?
Helping a segment of society that needs help because of past abuse by the greater society does not make them more equal. It makes society better.

Do you call Blacks Negroes? If so you disrespect them and their chosen term for themselves.

You have unwittingly revealed the most tangible part of your inability to understand the true relationship of a citizen with the government: that a nation's government is not a "parent", and a citizen is not a "child"! But acceptance of a belief that citizens are "children" is exactly the kind of "plantation"-thinking that has harmed Black Americans more than any other thing for the past sixty years! Do you see it now, Edna?! It's right there before your eyes -- in your own words.

Moreover, in adhering to this mangled, ill-conceived concept that the 'government/citizen' relationship is really a 'parent/child' relationship, you completely ignore the fact (FACT) that sixty years ago, the United States "parent" really did correct the previous wrongs that affected the citizen "child", directly and indirectly. And if you seriously doubt the effect and power of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965, just examine precedent-setting verdicts growing out of lawsuits involving situations where minority rights were violated when those two laws went into effect. The punishments were justifiably severe and the judgments provided many millions of dollars in compensation!

But, please, abandon this inane idea that a Black American citizen is a "child" of the government! It's astonishing that you obviously don't see how insulting and denigrating this concept is to the dignity of Blacks, and every other citizen, too!

Apparently you do understand the concept of an analogy and can not grasp the moral equivalency illustrated.

Please refrain from combining our conversation with others such that I have to cut rhem out.

Crime is SOARING uin the BLACK communities your attdmpt to mitigate that by combining with other communities noted. Single motherhood is FAR more prevalent and in fact the norm in the black communities. And why has that educational achievement particularly in the black community fallen so? Hint none of that has ANYTHING to do with slavery 160 years ago.

Exaggerating the negative and ignoring or ignorance of the positive tells me you do not like the Black community much, if at all. Why would you want to help a community you don't like or respect? I get that and hopefully people like you will remain in the minority and eventually dwindle away.

Why does the black community need my help? That you have to make it about me only shows the weakness of your argument. I am not responsible for the failures of Black/African (which one is it) communities.

I think I answered that question why you think the Black community deserves no assistance. No one is asking for your help or to take any responsibility.
An analogy is used as a comparison to bring moral clarity.....apparently you need glasses.

    You

Who do you think that assistance comes from?

Who is assuming that the Black/African community is still so helpless they need the assistance of Whites to live?

    And AGAIN please respond

How am I more equal than you? What right do I have that you do not? What freedom do I have that you do not? What can I do that you cannot?

Why are there African Americans far more successful than me in this country?

In my opinion when Christian Theologians can get their heads around the Dr. Ian Stevenson research and realize that what he found out fits with many Christian Bible and many Jewish Bible verses then......
.... a lot of our anger and un-forgiveness toward other races or religions or groups of people will finally be addressed.

Slavery and Jim Crow legislation are the black alibis for black social pathology.

Jews were persecuted for two thousand years. This culminated in the Holocaust. Nevertheless, today Jews are the most accomplished 0.2% of the human population.

Yet the Jews persecuted for two thousand years were also black. The 0.2% you're referring to are not the lineal descendants of the biblical Jews. There is literally zero proof for that minority "belief".

I've searched up and down on the internets and the defining argument for that belief is that they claim descent from a "MIDDLE EASTERN " group and not israelites.

That leaves hundreds of variables, Edom being one prominent assertion, due to the verses in Torah about Edomites mass conversion to Hebrew faith.

RACE, INTELLIGENCE, AND THE BRAIN: THE ERRORS AND OMISSIONS OF THE 'REVISED' EDITION OF S. J. GOULD'S THE MISMEASURE OF MAN (1996) J. Philippe Rushton Department of Psychology, University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario N6A 5C2, Canada

Gould withholds from his readers that The Bell Curve is mainly an empirical work about the causes of social stratification and that it reached its conclusions only after fully analyzing a 12-year longitudinal study of 12,486 youths (3022 of whom were African-American), which showed that most 17-year-olds with high IQs (Blacks as well as Whites) went on to occupational success by their late 20s and early 30s whereas many of those with low IQs (both Black and White) went on to welfare dependency. The average IQ for African-Americans was found to be lower than those for Latino-, White-, Asian-, and Jewish-Americans (85, 89, 103, 106, and 115, respectively, pp. 273-278). Failure to mention these data fosters the false belief that IQ tests are not predictive and are biased in favor of North Europeans.

    Race-Intelligence-and-The-Brain-The-Errors-and-Omissions-of-The-‘Revised’-Edition-of-S.-J.-Gould’s-The-Mismeasure-of-Man-1996-by-John-Philippe-Rushton.pdf

    ------------

In Africa the average IQ for Negroes is even lower: 75. Jews succeed against the odds. Black fail, despite the civil rights legislation and the War on Poverty.

What whites did to blacks in the past does not affect black performance and behavior now. Also, whites did not enslave blacks. African Negroes were enslaved by other African Negroes and sold to white slave traders.

The un certainly don't think we should stop talking about it.

    United Nations - March, 2025.

Addressing the General Assembly, Secretary-General António Guterres warned that systemic racism, economic exclusion and racial violence continue to deny people of African descent the opportunity to thrive.

He called on governments to acknowledge the truth and finally honour the trade’s legacy by taking action.

“For too long, the crimes of the transatlantic slave trade – and their ongoing impact – have remained unacknowledged, unspoken and unaddressed,” he said, denouncing erasure of history, rewriting of narratives and dismissal of slavery’s intrinsic harm.

“The obscene profits derived from chattel slavery and the racist ideologies that underpinned the trade are still with us,” he added.

The American South has always been the economic backwater of the United States. Nearly every trade and profession paid less in the slave states than in the free states. The industrial revolution happened in the North. The computer revolution is happening in California.

If slavery was responsible for the high rate of black poverty, we would expect African Negroes to be more affluent than American Negroes. The truth is that they are much less affluent, and in lower health.

American Negroes benefit from their exposure to a civilization incomparably superior to any that Negroes have created on their own.

It cannot be said that whites benefit from their presence. If there were virtually no Negroes in the United States, the crime rate would be much lower. The cost of our criminal justice system and our welfare system would be much lower. The downtown areas of our cities would not be asphalt jungles, characterized by crime and moral degeneracy. In those neighborhoods one would hear the sound of children playing safely, not gunfire and police sirens.

The downtown areas of our cities would be enters of civilization, known for museums, art galleries, libraries, book stores, atmospheric taverns and restaurants, theaters, and concert halls. One could watch a play of a movie, or attend a symphony concert or a ballet that ended at 10:00 pm, walk home, and be perfectly safe.

As you'll notice, Americans will do anything to deflect away from having an honest conversation about slavery in America and would rather bring up the Barbary pirates or bell curve in that tactic.

    All entitlement and no responsibility.
