You nailed it! Whats baffling to me is in that interview when she was asked what she would do different and said "nothing comes to mind".
That was one of the worst displays of laziness I've ever seen. They HAD to know she was going to be asked Biden comparison questions even with the media in her pocket. She didn't even give a cookie cutter answer like "we'll keep what works and evolve what needs to work better". She couldn't even be bothered with that! The audacity of these elites!

Its really simple: They stayed home.

Voter turnout is abysmal. ALways has been.

 

70%turnout compared to the usual 50-60% turnout isn't abysmal.

And 75-80% turnout on 2020 is frankly not credible.

 

There is no conspiracy this is just the lazy, entitled democratic voters for ya. If they can't vote while sitting on their asses, they can't be bothered.

So three things happened here.

- the lazy didn't vote
- those disenfranchised with both candidates didn't vote
- some flipped red. Remember, Trump gained in almost every single demographic. His gains, means people captured from the democratic party. (the democrats will call these people facist now...hope those ex blue voters are ready for those scary labels...)

Well in fairness, in 2020, people got to stay home and not pay rent so they had a lot more vested interest in keeping the free money flowing with the democrats than they had with the end the shutdown republicans than they had in 2024.

Harris never really had a chance TBH. She was set up to fail by Biden as a FU to Pelosi IMO. Biden has just as fragile ego as Trump really. It was why he screwed up student loans so bad. Even after losing the SCOTUS case, he could have done a lot of meaningful changes to the system without forgiveness, but his ego compelled him to stick some sort of the same forgiveness into every proposal that would have been good had he left it out. Hell my mom's payment count still isn't even correct on her current loan two and a half years after Biden promised it would be done by that fall and there is literally nothing she can do to get it corrected because her servicer says the Dept of Ed is the only one who can do that and when she contacts the department of ed, they just send her complaint to her servicer who once again tells her that there is nothing they can do. When she asked that the complaint be escalated to the ombudsman all they did was send it back to her current servicer to say the same thing a third time--nothing we can do.

 

It is absolutely insane that they are still counting votes. It should not be taking this long. But I will wait. But if those 12 to 15 million votes don't show up, I'm returning to this thread to ask where they went. Let's see if 12 to 15 million votes show up.
